I am not from the States and I didn't really understand that part. Did they mean only 348 african-americans were selected of 29 000? And how many years or shall i say decades are we talking about?
@@bugsbunnyknowsbetter 348 out of 29000 players since it was founded in 1920. Just over 100 years. Also all players not just African Americans, there are Caucasians players too.

And just half of the 348 are living. That makes those guys right there inside the 0,6%. They are literally parts of the game themselves.
