Painting a Bridge over a Stream Plein Air Painting

Life is almost unavoidably busy and chaotic. From loud road noise to busy schedules, we are bombarded with events and stimulation. If we are not careful, we will allow the noise and business of life to drown out the voice of God in our lives. However, there is something about the trickle of water from a small stream that God uses to calm life down to where it belongs so that we can properly hear him.
God has often used the stream that carves through the grounds of Beulah Baptist Church to bring me that peace and reprieve from a loud world. The streams of Beulah is where God has often met with me.
Here, I try to capture this calm feeling as I paint a bridge that goes over the small stream located on the property of Beulah Baptist Church.
