    Gle mhath. Interesting. This was eye opening and challenging a bit lol. I definitely agree with you hearing new words and hearing it from an instructor definitely helps. I am so use to the more simple ways to say him, her, them that hearing the new words in this video was a bit like...umm, wait what! Haha. But seriously, this is a great refresher video as you stated. I learned all the "e", "i", "iad" off Duolingo so it wasn't as descriptive and they don't explain as thorough as you do in the video, thank you for this. I am currently enrolled in your online course but I will be watching these videos over and over as well...Gle mhath. Tapadh leat a thidseir.

    Very interesting about the "'S toil leat"...I learned it on Duolingo as "Is toil team"...I like "S toil team" or "S toil leat" just sounds easier to say for me...less work a bit lol.

    Thanks very much. I struggled with these pronouns & this is very helpful to hear the tip about adding the subtle /h/ in aice and aca. Would you clarify the forms for we (sinn) as well?

      Glad to hear it helped clear that up, Ginny. 🙂 Yes, the next part in this 3 part lesson is all about 'sinn'. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/jMjIMnpVSKU/видео.html

    Hey Jason--hoping for a bit of clarification. Your structuring of 'he is angry' is "tha fearg air'. The google english to scottish gaelic translation said 'tha e feargach'. Are there more than one ways of being grammatically correct to say 'he is angry'? Thanks.

    Tapadh leibh! Though I do have a question: how do you ask someone "What are your pronouns?" in Gaelic? and how would you respond to that with "My pronouns are..."

    Hey Jason--actually, there is a very slight 'sh' sound in aice that might help folks remember aice is for SHe???

    Jason, not sure why she likes and they likes use the same word leatha, and how to know the difference 🤔 unless with they like it's leotha

    • @GaelicwithJason
      @GaelicwithJason  Год назад +3

      Madainn mhath! There's a slight spelling (and sound) difference between them:
      Is toil leatha = she likes (with an A at the beginning)
      Is toil leotha = they like (with an O at the beginning)
      In a nutshell, you'll hear more of an O sound in *Is toil leotha* 🙂
