- Join Alistair and Douglas as they take advantage of a stunning November day to head to the highlands and climb two new mountains, near to Bridge of Orchy. The low lying fog in Glen Orchy was a sight to behold as they completed the circuit of the Corbetts Beinn Udlaidh and Beinn Bhreac-liath.

Down with fences. Down with the tyranny!
I'm going with the biscuit this time. Looks like tasty frosting.
Bloody landowners 😂
Thanks Seth, I’m glad someone has voted for the biscuit! I can confirm it was delicious 😋
-Douglas
That fence needs put back up rapid as it’s usually put up to stop deer/sheep/herbivores eating the landscape preventing trees from growing etc. Reforesting Scotland are doing so well trying to make our land the way it was. Great wee video lads & McGhees are the best in the country for cakes😉
Thanks Mark! It would definitely be good to see more trees on the hills. We’ve nothing against fences, as long as they’re built with access in mind 👍 Empire biscuit for the win! 🥇
Brilliant views again and love the drone footage and your commentary to hope you enjoy your snacks 😊
Thanks Gordon! The snacks were yummy 😋
Looks like a nice walk with several points of interest- thanks for posting
Thanks Troy! Yeah it was a good one, we really enjoyed it 😃
Hi Guys, an absolute cracking video again. I’m sorry Dougie, Alistair has done you again on the summit snacks! Haha
In terms of sweets, Irn Bru jelly babies are the best.
All the best gents
Dave
Thanks Dave! I shall need to up my snack game for future hikes 😆 -Douglas
Great video lads - nice to see some ‘different’ Corbett bagging - Cheers
Thanks Will! We’re certainly enjoying heading to the lesser visited hills these days 😃
Great video from my most favourite place on the planet Glen Orchy,I must give this one a go!!Thank you for sharing
Thanks William! We really enjoyed this hike, and would definitely recommend it 👍
Empire biscuit all day long!!!! - theres simply no beating the emperor of all things yummy!! - Another excellent vid from you both - I've got my eye on Beinn Udlaidh as a potential up the track from Glen Orchy farm.. maybe one day.. superb scenery and banter, always enjoyable, take care - ATB Tom
Thanks Tom! And good to see another vote for the empire biscuit 😄
Another nice video guys.
Thanks Fraser 😃
Nice one lads. Did that circuit the other way round, heading up the quartz line, which you can spot from miles away when you know wot ur looking for. Another crackin wee video. Thx for sharing.
Thanks Richard! We did wonder what doing the circuit the opposite way round would be like.
Nice one Lads 👍
Thanks Jimmy 😃
Great video as always guys
Thanks Alan 😃
Really interesting video. I have the same trousers as Alistair in the same colour! And for yourself Douglas I watched an older video you took of the Brack near Arrochar which was part of my research before summiting it yesterday. The minute I saw the sign heading down the glen via the Cowal way and seen the sign detailing bikes I remembered you pointing this out on that video and it gave me such a wonderful feeling you were walking on the same path whenever that was knowing I was going the right way as my GPS location was compromised slightly before due to lots of land rover tracks vearing off in all sorts of directions 😂. Suffice to say I made it back to the car at Ardgarten well before sunset. Found this video quite interesting guys, where did you both park to start these Corbett's?
Thanks Marco, glad you enjoyed it 😃 That’s good to hear you had a successful hike on The Brack - definitely a lot of confusing paths you might end up following by accident 😂 We parked just to the side of the forestry track entrance - enough space for a few cars to not block the gate. I believe it’s where Walk Highlands recommends to park. Cheers, Douglas.
Another smashing video guys. I would go with Alistair snack again lol. Stunning views on the first one. Pity about the 2nd. But still looks like a cracking walk.

Alan
Thanks Alan, we really enjoyed this hike! At least we got great views for most of it. Can’t believe Alistair has bested me again - I’ll need to try harder next time 😂 -Douglas
Thanks for uploading, guys. Definitely the bun thing, never had an empire biscuit. Will have to seek them out. BTW what's with the painted fingernails, if it's not a personal question? Not seen you with that previously? 🏴🏔👍
Thanks Nick! Definitely worth giving an empire biscuit a try 😃 I’ve regularly got my nails painted as it’s something I enjoy doing - maybe this colour was just a bit more obvious. Used to take it off when going out hiking as for some reason I was worried what folk might think, but over the last year or so I’ve decided it’s a bit silly to worry about such things!
Cool! And I might add, after a re-watch, what a 'magical' intro to this video. ATB.
Thanks Nick! All the best, Douglas.
A big man did it and ran away officer🤔
Exactly! 😂
