Kids, you see where the players don't run out of the way when a guy is about to dunk? That's called defense. They used to play it in NBA games and Allstar games a LOOOOOOONGGGG time ago.
when the allstar game was a real game
Exactly there was more defense here than we get in the playoffs now
You're delusional
1:05 what a pass!! Dudes playing great basketball and respecting fundamental rules. Is possible.
What about the pass at :28 between Hondo and Russ? Too bad we don't have more video of old games. I bet those guys did that a thousand times 😅
0:27 Absolutely disgusting! Plumbers my ass, that was better than anything we’ve seen from the past two All-Star games.
Next do all 5 mid-range J's from the 2024 ASG 😆
they should have aired this all-star game instead of the most recent one.
Yo that pass by hondo was sick
Besides athleticism, ballhandling and 3-pt shooting being better overall today, I don't see anything else being better. Players back then had better fundamentals and competed hard. I always enjoy watching games from the past. More physicality was allowed and the pace of the games was faster, especially pre-90s.
The only thing that looks out of place is the dribbling. The outlet passes, no look passes and put back dunks would all pass muster today, I feel.
Some rare videos on your channel, subbed
Wonder what would've happened if Havlicek was drafted by the 76ers and played with Wilt instead of Russ..🤔
Next, do all 5 times players sprinted from the 2020-2024 all-star games.
no doubt these players can play in today’s nba
Back when basketball was a team game, I can dig it! 👏
someone forgot the 3 point line LOL 😂
