Here is what I wear as a ballerina going to class.
legwarmers/sweatpants/lululemon dance studio pants
wrap sweater or form fitting jacket
crocs/dance booties
all of this over my leo and tights.
Here is what is worn in class:
legwarmers
ballet wrap skirt
leotard
tights
ballet flats and later pointe shoes
wrap sweater or form fitting jacket (taken off once warmed up)

As a ballet dancer, this ballet core trend is extremely inaccurate. I would be embarrassed to dress like that.
