I work at bath and body and I NEVER am allowed to toss alcohol products such as fragrance sprays, wall flowers, etc. into the dumpster! 😂 I’m astonished! We have a bucket for them to be shipped out and disposed of properly!
I like your method. When you see a box or bag that looks like it has goodies you grab the whole thing. Faster than picking through each item. You can hit more stores that way.

I think it’s better to go Sunday’s because they close early and wear gloves a mask and a jacket bring big bags and boxes if you’d like to help carry the stuff (I’ve never gone dumpster diving btw) hope this helped! :)

I work at bath and Body works. The pointed style is the older style, but the newer style has the scent etched into the top part of the glass. It's hard to see but it is there. Also we have to damage out anything that we are not selling anymore. So that means any returns that are not on the floor or do not pull up as sellable in the system we cannot sell it and have to dispose of it. Also any product with alcohol in it (room sprays, body mists, wallflower refills, hand sanitizer, etc.) We are not supposed to put it in the trash

Id totally do this if I had the courage, but I'd be way too nervous about getting caught...that would be embarrassing. as a former worker at Ulta, sometimes we keep extra testers and when we replace the palate or brand we throw out all the testers, even if they arent used! I snagged a few thankfully lol
Omg the palattes are so beautiful The blanket were made of a thin material that is usually worn as scarfs in India Its quality is just duh it warms you very well but the material is super weird Great score💞
The snowflake wallflower is beautiful. I saw it there but they want too much for wallflowers lol. And the little halloween candle holder is cute. Could do a little beauty and the beast rose halloween theme 😁
Hey I just wanted to tell you with the broken pallet if you pop out certain eyeshadows there are pallets that are magnetic that you can put the broken ones on there from the color pot brand so basically if you take the circle eyeshadows out you can pop them onto the eyeshadow palette and it’s like your own little custom pallet and I’m pretty sure the custom pallet to buy that’s magnetic is not that much totally worth it let me know if you see this
This is crazy to me, because literally policy at Bath & Body we have to destroy returned candles, buckets to dispose of sprays & we have to pour out cream or body wash prior to dumping the bottles.
Right. I know someone here who actually got fired along with 2 other people for taking things that were being thrown away at BBW. Also they arrest people for going in store dumpsters.. which I dont see the big deal. They are throwing it away anyway lol

Ive been binge watching your videos all day today. Ive been curious, when diving for makeup, how do you clean/sanitize products such as mascara, concealer, lip gloss since they are in tubes and have wands?
JessieGoGreen hi! Thanks for watching. Eyeshadow powder products are the easiest to disinfect. Liquids are a lil bit for tricky, i rarely use mascaras or lips glosses if they look really used. But if I do salvage them I wash the wand with soap and very hot water. Then I will soak the wand in rubbing alcohol for like 10 mins. I will also put a few drops of alcohol into the lipgloss or mascara. Once I put the lid back on and will keep the items in the freezer over night. Nothing is a 100% Guaranteed to be safe but u just have to use ur better judgment. I clean all these items the same way stores clean them before they test them on costumers.

In some city’s u can, you will have to check ur county’s laws on dumpster diving. And u can’t dumpster dive on private property. So watch out for no trespassing signs. Also there really isn’t a certain day. I check daily and you have to be persistent

Hey! 1st I look up all the stores I want to go to and then I drive to them. All of these stores are In shopping centers so I can easily drive behind them. Luckily for me the ones I like to dive at don’t have compactors and just dumpsters. The dumpsters are usually located towards the stores back door. I live in Florida and the lil route I’ve created takes me about 25 min
If they were hid in recycling I’d bet an employee hid it to get later! They do that at mine

The blanket or throw was the best find. It actually has real value and is beautiful. The "weird material" is called wool.
They would throw out Perfectly good products when the sku number is deleted from the system.
They throw out products that "do not exist".
