The black fireplace is perfect. It adds so much to your living space 👏🏼 I will be painting my console table this week and this was such good timing. Hoping mine like as good
The mantel looks so classy! I think the black makes it more autumn vibe. 🍁🍂🍂 I recently painted my coffee table black because it was a grungy orange-y-brown and at first I wasn't liking how it was looking. I kept telling myself "Trust the process 🙏" and it came out like I wanted it. I'm currently painting my entire bedroom and it's the same process. I did the opposite of you, I painted wall trim white from being black. I had several "omg, i effed up 💀😨" moments! Rollers are LIFESAVERS! I agree with you, we need tiny rollers. 😂😂

It looks fine. You ahve other accents of a darker colors so why not? Don't keep second guessing yourself you did fine. Drapes look good and it is a nice contrast. Good Job!
2 things - make sure to use paintable caulking in any spot you may paint. The other thing is - a hack for when you tape - especially if you are taping on a light color & going to paint a darker color as you did here - after you put your tape down - on the side of the tape that you'll be painting the darker color - first take that light paint & do a layer around (in your case here) where the tape & fireplace meet. This will keep the dark color from bleeding through & help to create that crisp line you were looking for! And there are videos on YT to show you how to do this hack...it works! lol! and you won't have to go back & forth w/the 2 colors after trying to fix it! Your place looks great!! 🍁
