But just the fact that they sell something for 100k, I don't see any issue there, and your analogy is not just on the wrong level its just describing a completely different situation and doesn't apply at all. People need to sell a kidney for cancer treatment because its mandatory for them, they need it to survive. It is ludicrous to argue that people need the Waffentrager in the same way. There are always whales in every community. Some people buy art for tens of millions, some people can afford to buy these tanks. No one is forcing you to do it, and you certainly don't need the tank. If people want to splurge it is their right. Now maybe the argument is that game balance is upset, but with only 5000 in the game its hard to argue that is seriously disturbed, and besides that, the tank is good but even pro streamers will admit its not as good as some other premiums.
What makes me laugh and cringe at the same time is the fact that a lot of players are acting like WG literally forces them to buy everything not realizing that the problem is actually within themselves and the whole playerbase. Why do they think WG can pull out such a stuff and get away with it every single time and then even openly laugh in their faces (like with the BZ-176 "joke")? BECAUSE THEY THEMSELVES, THE PLAYERBASE, NOT ONLY LET'S THEM BUT EVEN ENCOURAGES IT WITH THEIR DECISIONS AND BANK ACCOUNTS. Like lmao. This tank had a ridiculous price tag of 100k gold and yet it vanished in under 4 minutes on all servers (yes, I know, on some even much faster). What WG will do the next time then? Will they stop? Why would they knowing that the players will spend anything and everything to get whatever they try to sell? No, they won't stop, they'll do the opposite, they'll again accelerate further, they'll only make things even more expensive and they'll continue to do so until they won't sell. This is the logical outcome and they're doing it for probably nearly as long as they exist but the players after all of this time didn't say "stop!" yet, and they won't, ever. So, it is what it is but it's not WG's fault in this case.
Dude you make me feel bad for missing out on this tank with the insane intro and its music (I had 97k gold on my account at the time of the offer). I remember back in the days I started playing wot because of (partially) this tank. Just missed out when it got removed though.
And to think this thing used to have 6 shots instead of 5 when it came out, 420m view range, and medium tank levels of gun handling all the way back in 2013.
I used to have the WT E100 back when it had 6 rounds in the magazine. Lost it when they replaced it with Grille. I always buy Christmas loot boxes and end up with a lot of carry over gold from year to year. I have passed or missed opportunities to get different tanks over the years. So I decided f**k it, I purchased the Phonix. Havent taken it out and played with it yet.
I still remember when the WTF100 came into the game.... They were surprisingly fun to kill, using the T49 and 152mm derp cannon. TBH kind of a dick move on WG's part, to remove it and then re-introduce it the way they did. Fuck the grind, for all the previous players, amirite Serb?

The waffle e100 was always my favorite tank, since I heard about it. I was never able to play it, as I joined the game after its removal and I'm a f2p player, but I still love it. I have it in the console version and every once in a while I go and play a few games in it. It doesn't have 5 shots anymore, only 4 now, but even that is good enough to clip some tanks. Shameful that wargaming took such a tank and sold it for the price of an entire phone.
