Hi Oliver !! Good job ! For me I decided to retrain for a career in engineering technology at the age of 38. Before I always had obstacles, typically European obstacles .... I've just finished my bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology at the age of 42, and that was with Coop Studies courses (company/university) , where I didn't learn anything at bachelor's level on the company side! But i like the topics ( engineering filed) I'd like to specialize in mechatronics and try to do more software development/ Online studies. I'd love to be in North America! I think mechatronics engineering is based mainly inside the automation field you know PLC's programing VFD's or even SCADA networks, and that's is why I'd like to do a master degree.
Mechatronics is something which I wanted to do since I’m very passionate about it to serve this industry and here Quantum University is actually having teachers to teach well
Thank you, Oliver, for the information. I would be grateful if you could make videos about the important programming languages to be learned for a mechatronics engineer.

Hello Oliver, thanks for the video. I'm a recent graduate mechatronics engineer in Mexico. However it has been difficult to find a pure mechatronics job. As I started my carrer my goal was to create and develop robots , robotics is my dream. But now I've been presented with Process Engineer jobs or CAD designer. In the search of my first job, I'm feeling confused and stressed. Any tips or suggestions.
In first world countries will go more like you say, but in countries here like in colombia believe me, there are plenty of jobs relating to the management area, such as mantainement boss and things like that, other option would be taking a job as a technician, but it is bad paid, however, there are still a few jobs about programming, but as you know you shoud at least have a knowledge about python (and its AI modules), or if you have some kind of luck you will end up working for the projects area of a company, but, it is still a blurry way, I would have rather taken a programming career, mechatronics sucks, believe me guys, I tought it was a good idea back in 2015 and now in 2021 I say that it is not a good way, the good thing is that I've repared my microwave, fridge and some other home devices, just that.

Like, do the companies actually hire them?
Great video mate , you cleared most of my doubts . Can I know if we are doing mechatronics degree focusing on automation engineering what are the best companies?
Tesla is the first that comes to mind. But there literally thousands of manufacturing companies or even tech companies with large databases that higher automation people to help them out.
OMG thank u so much , you are just a great person, I though I won't get a response ..... I would love to work at tesla :) but should start small them to ur dream
Would you think it would be smarter to get a degree in Electrical or Mechanical as well as Mechatronics engineering (especially if you're interested in both) or does it really have any value to have both in regards to finding a job?
What type of software skills, additional to a degree, would be beneficial to learn outside of school for a software position, with a mechatronics degree?
Can u please give me some tips where I can found some extra information to learn more and get a job easyer. Like, what programs mecatronics engeneers do use or what knowledge do I need to insist on in the university. I am 2 grade of 4 and I feel I still don't know exactly on what should I insist. I would love to be in one of the greatest company in the present and to have something to do there to help the future to be more kind to us.

So helpful thank you!!
This is a very good video.. concise explanation.. this is quite good..
Thank you!
Getting my hard limit in just the second year, I completely suck at theory I now realize
Robotics Code for Cognition Ignition
F=m*45*53
Works in an open-sourced system and initiates an electromotive force of energy that matches up the SOST's speed to the processors speed. Starts your robot walking and talking on his own power. Ask if he needs anything. Works on a partial build or one-armed stationary robot.
Now that I know this... time to search for multiple hours for a mechatronics engineering program :’)
LOL, yup, they aren't very common unfortunately, if you can't find one look into computer or electrical engineering.
@@OliverFoote I’m still a junior in high school so more might pop up in the next years of high school I have
A great benefit of this video
loved this vid !!
Thanks!
great vdo , loved it
I love being a micatronic engineer micatronic for future
Keep up the good work❤
you gave us hope. thx
Sorry my English is not good enough but I hope you can understand what I said.
In my country we either should study mechanical or electrical engineering then we can start mechatronic
Which is better ?
1) to get mechatronic degree as a mechanical engineer
2) to get mechatronic degree as an electrical engineer
can you make a college road map for mechatronics engineering
Nice information I am from India.
Agreed I just applied for mechatronic
Why is this subject turning me on so much 😂 I want to study this after i complete my CSE
Just what I needed if only I could like it more than once👍
Thanks!
Currently studying mechatronics engineering but still don't feel any jobs I can do
Hello Oliver, thanks for the video.
I'm Brazilian, I intend to study mechatronics in Canada
Thanks from México!
You’re welcome!
You know you are confused when your thumbnail shows you wearing a hardhat but you are a mechatronics engineer
Lol, yup
I like this vidéo thanks you very much Sir.
Thank you🖤
Thx for the this nice video
thanks man
You're welcome!
Hi Oliver I'm from India and i did my B.tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering . I've selected post graduate master in Mechatronics , could you tell what would be the syllabus or topics i will be going to study for next 2 years .
Congratulations bro
Hello
Hi Oliver, I saw this video so many times just for the sake of satisfaction that mechatronics is really worth it. But, Oliver I have been researching a lot and got to know that the skills a mechatronics engineer learns are insane and even I wanna learn 'em but no-one knows this type of engineering and the thing is in other engineering fields like computer science, software etc there are already so many ppl....so Oliver could you pls advise me about the real truth of a mechatronics engineer....is it really worth it? Like, do the companies actually hire them?
Yes.
Very nice and very informative
Is there any scope of mechatronics engineering in Australia?
hi where are you from?
i am from India
Great video mate , you cleared most of my doubts . Can I know if we are doing mechatronics degree focusing on automation engineering what are the best companies?
Tesla is the first that comes to mind. But there literally thousands of manufacturing companies or even tech companies with large databases that higher automation people to help them out.
Geotab, Square, FAANG. Etc
New video coming soon! But it's a lot about who you know and less about what you know, obviously having direction is good, but connections are the things that usually get you a job.
I'm confused between choosing mechanical, or electrical or mechatronics 😓
