Based on the behind the scenes from episode 3, the dynamics are that she is being extra friendly and attentive because she wanted Meena to join the pageant. Meena is starting to fall. She doesn't know yet if she is falling or if they are just bonding because they spend so much time together but there will come a time where she knows. I believe that's when the love scenes etc will kick in and she will become the aggressor so basically real life hahaha

I see something like this happening on the show. I think everything changed between them after they shot a couple episodes. So the team added few scenes to naturally build the intimacy between the characters.
