I have my flights and accommodations all arranged for a visit in November. But now, I keep reading about the fresh water crisis on Samui. Any thoughts on that?

It's not really an issue at the moment. Nothing much to worry about unless the island doesn't get any rain over the next few months.

I recommend Hive Hotel for modern and Thai Beach House for a classic hotel. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from on the beach road in Lamai.

Stayed at the Hive 4 weeks in August, can definitely recommend! Minutes to the walking street and still very quiet!
