It wasn’t offensive, it was a genuine reaction. How can someone not react to racism in a negative way? Imagine a poll asking if it’s okay to be (insert race) and what kind of reaction it would get.
I also don't have any issue with what he said. My own experience living in a majority-black city in the US mirrors exactly what he said. There is NO group in the US more racist than blacks. On an individual level, they are much more likely to harbor resentment and negative feelings towards people of other races. And if given half a chance, they will put that racism into power. This applies to whites, but also asians and hispanics. Whenever possible, I stay away from groups of black folk. They don't want me there, and I don't want to be there.

My brother just resigned as a VP in a fortune 100 company. He told the top people how sickened he was by all the DEI stuff and goals being implemented. He said he has several people that have worked for him for 20 years plus pouring everything they have into their work and the company basically said they didn’t meet the criteria for promotion. (You can probably guess what the criteria is?) He actually got the president of the company to admit how wrong this is. He fought hard enough to obtain promotions for these people before he signs off at the end of the month. He said he can’t stomach all this anymore. Not to mention, the void coming for so many companies who stop hiring based on talent and drive. My brother is the type of person who doesn’t care what a person looks like but just wants results. He has always given people chances to prove themselves. He doesn’t want to reward someone that doesn’t deserve to be rewarded. His company is losing a great hardworking talented person. He will be fine. He will probably work for himself so he doesn’t have to put up with all the nonsense. He said there are companies out there who are not focusing on all this crazy stuff. He plans to do consulting work for them.
Promoting or denying promotions on the basis of race is a violation of federal law and the law of each of the 50 states. Employers may not do this, and there is no exception for "diversity targets." If those employees are passively accepting the loss of promotions without fighting back, then there is something wrong with them.

I disagree that we should ignore averages. Sure, the "average person" doesn't exist specifically, but group averages are useful for knowing what to expect at the group level, which includes individuals with whom you'd rather not mix because of their behavioral traits. Look no further than average crime statistics, with 2% of the US population (black males aged 13-49) accounting for over half the murders. IQ also has its respective Bell Curves by race, which become meaningful when you get to the high and low ends of the overlapping curves, based on whom you will find there.

My Chinese American husband and I support Scott Adams. We have many BLACK friends. All of us (including BLACK conservatives and moderaters) would not want to live next to or deal with BLACK racists. Funny how Obama and Oprah Winfrey both live in WHITE majority environments.
Oprah lives on Maui which has less than a 1% black population. Unsurprisingly Maui has a very low violent crime rate.

I disagree that we should ignore averages. Sure, the "average person" doesn't exist specifically, but group averages are useful for knowing what to expect at the group level, which includes individuals with whom you'd rather not mix because of their behavioral traits. Look no further than average crime statistics, with 2% of the US population (black males aged 13-49) accounting for over half the murders. IQ also has its respective Bell Curves by race, which become meaningful when you get to the high and low ends of the overlapping curves, based on whom you will find there.
I think he knows that too but this is the best way to walk through the minefield and still make a decent point while also shedding light on the mess as a whole
