Just a reminder that at the All Star break last year the Giants had the top Wild Card spot and Logan Webb was on RUclips (NBC Bay Area) saying we had best defense in MLB. And then Zaidi benched Schmitt and benched Meckler. I swear to god I am gonna start rooting for a small market team just to be able to root for kids.
I think they're going to have to stick with a semblance of younger players as depth. But more so the depth of the rotation. We're going to need those young arms to eat up bulk innings.
@@bspn I thought we were really on to something last year in terms of playing team baseball and I would have given the young guys more of an opportunity to fail. This year looks like we will be more focused on Ks for pitchers and HRs for hitters which is nice- but I much prefer the classic NL style of baseball.
