These won't get as many views as normal videos because most of your viewers know how to play FM. But for the people who don't, this is so useful. I watched your FM Academy videos and they were just huge in me learning the game. And now that you know how to make videos better, I'm sure they will be a huge help to anyone else.

Two important skills you want for the staff - High tactical knowledge for your Assistant Manager. Your assistant can set up the tactics and give you in game advice. In theory the higher that skill, the better advice and tactical setup your team is going to be. Have someone on your staff who has a very high motivation skill (18/19/20), take there advice prior to any game talks and use it. Sometimes the players might not react well, but they will be motivated. In my last save at a very good team, if we snuck a lucky 1-0 win against team we should be beating by 3 or 4 goal. He would often tell me to skip a post-game talk, the players might react badly but they were motivated for the next game. Team talks are one of the most important factors in how your team performs. Also you do the team talk, don't leave it to the coach. You want the players to run thru a brick wall for you, not your coach.
I tend to snag Brian Klug from Ipswich Town for my #2. He's head of youth development, but he has enough interest in assistant coaching that you can offer him a good contract and he'll readily accept. 15-17 across the board with 17-17 CA/PA among his well rounded attributes. Brazilian coaches tend to be amazing, but unless they have a continental pro license (highest coaching badge), they won't get a work permit (if your an English team for example). Also, General Manager with good enough negotiating skill can simply handle dealing with agents and player contracts and save you bank: example, 16 negotiation skill means they'll be able to sign players for less then their agent demands.
I haven’t played this game since Soccer Manager 2014.. I didn’t know what I was doing back then still don’t know what I’m doing know but I’m loving every minute of it
man, im so glad i am playing fm's since 2004 now, i would NOT want to be new to all the stuff thats in the game. it's unbelievably detailed and complex
It’s a lot. I’ve been playing since FM19, and only just recently got into the game a lot more seriously since FM21 came out. My biggest issue was just decision-making and stupid errors in matches, but I got past that and have been really enjoying the game since then
Me, having 1000 hours in game: why am i watching this? edit: Also, a quick tip for you guys: If you find someone with good goalkeeping or fitness coaching attributes, but will only accept a simple coach role, sign them as a coach and assign them as a gk/fitness coach from the coaching assignments. it took me 3 years to realise this was a thing lol
I know this was a thing for a long time but i did it once years back and i think the players complained that i didnt have a specific GK and Fitness coach. They just kept on whining and whining so i never tried it since.
Is the personality any important for the staff members??? I always try to sign the Model Profs / Citizen / Prof / Perfectionist ones... but they tend to have low stats...
I started a career at Rotherham in the English 2nd league, and my head sport scientist, and u23 sport scientist were handling fitness coaching for the 1st team. I thought "cool" let's get some better ones to handle the training better....well...the new ones are not shown with coaching assignments. Does anyone happen to know what's the gag?!
Just discovered this channel and find it super interesting. Learned so much! Will you be doing another S.O.S. in the near future as I'd like some help with mine. I feel like I've reached a plateau and your advice would help me get to the next level. Thanks, Zealand!
How do you promote a physio to be head physio? Also: the wage limit I have while negotiating, is that a limit just for this position, or is that my whole remaining staff wage budget?
With fitness coaches, how do I tell the difference between strength and quickness. I be reading player reports and they would be happy with a dedicated strength coach but when searching I get the same fitness coach attributes
One thing I find frustrating with the technical director. I will employ him with 17+ for judging staff potential and 17+ for negotiating etc. Yet they will sign someone like a physio with 8 or 9 for physiotherapy. Big clubs btw.
hey thanks for the video! i have several coaches and 2 of them i bought only for training (good attributes). however, i can not assign them to take over training (they dont exist in dropdown to select). i can only always assign the same coaches as it was at save start.... anyone knows what i am missing???
I'm playing FM21 Touch and recently I had this problem with staff. I wanted to extand contract with my youth developement coach, but this time as my assistant. He agreed and everything looke fine till a couple of days later. I got this message confirming the new deal, but instead of position of assistant, he just extended his youth development job. My question is: is it a bug or the game simply doesn't allow you to sign youth developement expert as ana assistant? Thank for any help.
Are You saying that we don't need Fit and Gk coaches except one in first team???? And what happened to hiring new coaches? I have to sack old one first, I can't replace them like in FM20 or I'm doing something wrong? So there is an option that I end up with worse coach or no coach at all if one that I pick don't want to join and I have to fire old one.
Question: what if you can only sign part time scouts and physio's despite having increased the wages multiple times through the board and you are regulary playing continental football?
Does anyone know if you have more physios if that reduces the length of injuries more because there are more people "helping" or is it a case that it's better to have one great physio and the game takes the medic with the highest overall score/rating/attributes? I never paid much attention to getting multiple physios I had assumed a couple were enough but if having more reduces the length players are out then I'll request extra physios from the board which is something I've never done
Not so sure assistant manager is important. I do all my training I do all the team selection I set up all the tactics. Other staff seem to be very important not so much assistant when you do everything yourself.
g'day, quick question. if i resign from a club, will teams of a similar level sign me or will I fall down the football pyramid. for example, if i resign from PSG will teams like man city and bayern go after me or will teams like luton town and Oriental dragon fc offer me contracts, Cheers.
Your attractiveness on the market is determined by your reputation. You can increase it by winning titles, but also by doing formations or by having good relationships with your players and the media. Starting the game as a former international player make it way more easy BTW.
certainly useful but it took me watching the same part over again 3 damn times just to see how financially secure my team is lol. if this is for beginners then show how to see that shit instead of just cutting to it
