I am almost finished with “The Latehomecomer.” I am Irish- American. My Grandma was a rock in our family. Her love for and protection of me made me call on her when I was overwhelmed studying for the bar exam and when our first born child was in the ICU and when I prepared for trials. She has always guíded me and given me strength.
Your deep love for your Grandma and your book bring honor to her, the Hmong, and all grandmas and grandchildren.
Your book is a profound gift.
Beginning 9/17, I will be in St. Paul for five days.
I hope that I can visit a Hmong cultural center or restaurant.
