Thanks for the video and the quick game ! It gives a very nice overview of the solo game ! NB: do you always pay your costs ? Sometimes it seems you don't but perhaps it was cut off. NB: what is the area next to the city building tokens ? Not used in solo game ?
I thiiiiink if I remember correctly I catch at least one mistake in part 2 haha! There may also be some parts where I’ve cut out my fumbling around between turns, but I’m not sure 😬
Yes, you do correct some mistakes and main rules are followed, that is why your playthrough is relevant, thanks mate ! I found in the rules the area you do not use/talk about is the hometown area where you can build cities and get extra actions and/or bonuses.
Coyote Ludo yes, missed that sorry! I’ve found in all my solo games so far I’ve largely ignored it, whereas any time I’ve played multiplayer, they’re always highly fought over.. maybe I need to adjust my priorities in solo play!
Thanks for the playthrough. This game looks interesting. I read that the solo play can be done with the deluxe version but can you also play solo with the standard version?
Good question - I believe so, as far as I know the Deluxe just added the larger meeples, some of the expansion content, and the box stuff (inserts, sleeve etc.). I don’t think the core pieces or cards changed or anything like that, so it should be possible!
I was confused on the "Start Player" spot until I saw your video. The book isn't clear or say anything about "Start player" Spot on set up. Could be because of the translation to English the rules don't read as clear as the should.
While I do think theres a possibility of falling into a repetitive strategy after replaying a few times, there’s definitely enough in the box to keep things interesting. The synergy of the various cards, and the challenge of managing your population correctly has continued to pose new challenges for me game after game.
Fantastic video!, many thanks!

@@OnePlayerForever Great! Thanks!

This looks as a very well designed game. Do you think the game has high replaybility?

@@OnePlayerForever I thought is was both positive and intriguing that when playing solo there was no AI.
Yeah you’re really left to your own devices, definitely a feeling of ownership when you win (or lose!)
