Very interesting that there is shetland in them. I've had whippets and this would definitely explain windsprites being easier to train. Whippets are sensitive and will listen in general, but specific training they could really care less lol. They just need you, a couch, a little play and some walkies and they're good. Definitely interested in possibly getting a windsprite some day I like the idea of a feathery trainable whippet.

In the snow, spraying the paws with like a Pam cooking spray prevents ice balls from forming in between the digits.

Apparently my 1982 dog shelter whippet cross was a medium-haired whippet. She had slightly longer hair than normal whippets, but not as long as these. :)

Fun fact, my galgo mix was very easily trained and my silken windsprite pup is 'harder'. She is still smart and good, but she is a little more stunborn then the other one. 🤣❤️
