@@npcwithsidequesty’all don’t know.. chain mail is crazy heavy. They had a chain mail vest at a place in German I went to and after wearing it for a while I was nearly as heavy as my old body military armour… and this was only a vest (no sleeves and a very wide head/neck hole)
@@sirslickrock correct, the thing you wore was roughly about 8-12 kg, what we are talking about is a helmet, it should be around 2-4 kg, that shouldn't be too much of a problem alongside padding. There are better substitutes tho, since the main thing people tend to worry about are nail scratches and bites which may go through a chain mail if it were to be used alone.
