- Hey everyone! Here's my take for JTC Guitar's Djentmas Track! In all honesty, I've only just had the time to do this track, so not my most innovative work ;D

F**k yes! so creative and clean im interested to know those process of your composition of these outta this world licks really want to get into writing myself but know pretty much zero music theory do you make your own drum tracks ? i was also wondering if so how learning to do that is
Connor Kaminski wrote this track, but personally I usually write my own for original stuff and covers (mostly). Like any muscle, composing is a skill that will get stronger over time the more you do it. Even when I’m ‘taking a break’, I’m writing solos in my head lol 😂

Thanks! Tbh I don’t think it’s strict 16th triplets, I tend to just spam when it’s that quick and hope it’s in time. It’s more of a vibrating spasm of the forearm rather than dedicated up-and-down picking. Sounds cool though I think!

Honestly have to agree with you in the description. Don't get me wrong, it's still great, but work of yours you have put more time into is musicality-wise just a notch better (and I think you believe when I say I'm pretty familiar with your stuff 😁). The technique is mind-blowingly clean as always, though! 🔥

Hey at 47 seconds are those sweep arpeggios done by a barre across the strings or single fingers? Looks like you are in different frets with the barre. Also do you ever play out anywhere? Thanks
I try to bar as little as possible, but I find it easier with those wider arpeggios. I’m usually just barring the intervals of 4ths, which I’m this case is only the bottom part of the arps.
Tbh honest, I’m not 100% sure I was totally accurate. You’d have to slow it down to hear the pitch. But when it’s played at that speed you’d have to have a very precise hearing to notice haha. I just aim for tightness at that speed 😅
And to answer your second question, I haven’t had an opportunity to play my stuff live yet. Other than on Instagram, but it’s my next priority moving forward 🙏🏼
