- this is my official love letter to polin, and bton season 3.
what an incredible love story between two characters that grow apart and together, with the most love and admiration for one another. as someone who always loves a romance story, this is one for the ages. the love and respect they have for one another, even when they were at odds, is so beautiful. so I wanted to create an official love letter to close this chapter in the bton fandom.
of course I will always be a polin and bton stan, but as the promo has ended - it feels like a 'see you later', and I wanted to honor that in a way.
this video shows the journey these two faced (mostly from colin's pov because IMO his story goes misunderstood far too much). really hope you all like this one, it means so much to me.

Loved this, and loved the view from Colin’s perspective, which is refreshing and unique. With all his charm and bravado that he started the season with, you saw glimmers of his loneliness and insecurity come through, particularly with his family and Pen. I loved watching that armor get stripped away to reveal the vulnerable and sensitive man Pen loves underneath. You captured his journey beautifully, and the true life partner he found in Pen. Beautiful work!
YES YoU GET IT! it was sad to see so many people brush off colin’s struggles this season, and to see him so misunderstood and misjudged. do I agree with some of the things he did or said this season? hell no. but can I say the same thing about pen? hell yeah.the fact that they both were going through their own personal growth journeys to ultimately end up together is so beautiful. that’s why friends to lovers will always be top tier to me. 💖

I wanted to show colin’s side more because it makes me sad seeing so many people not understanding his journey this season. he’s trying to figure out who he is, and the person who has always been his anchor all of a sudden is done with my just starts his spiral because now he feels like he doesn’t haven’t anyone. and as soon as he kisses her, that boy is DONE FOR 😂❤
@@tilltheworldendsx3 exactly!! It was more his point of view. That kiss was the bane of his existence!!! I’ve rewatched the season and I’ve noticed when you saw it for the first time I find myself watching more Penelope thru all the things. When I rewatched it and you look closely to Colin you notice the little details that make him so special and perfect for her. A masterpiece your video, it really captured his journey to their love. I really love it! I’ve read a lot of negative comments and it sadness me because I love the season, also read a lot of positive comments. For me this is the first time I got so caught up so bad for a couple/series. Every episode it was a rollercoaster of emotions, I cry, laugh, scream, it is touching. Yes I understand there was a lot of stories running at the same time, but I think they’re rushing because there still more books and by the time they make the last book the cast it’s gonna be very old 😅.

This was beautiful! I love how you included Colin’s speech to Cressida! For some reason others are not including it and I think it’s one of the most vital pieces of their story! The most insight Colin gives in the midst of his angst! ❤ Absolutely gorgeous edit!
