Love your white Sapote trees ! Very amazing tree ! Easy to grow in Melbourne test very nice White Sapote my favourite fruit 😊👍 Hopefully my fruit soon 😊
Hi George, wonderful video and everything is so beautiful and lush.. Love it! I have a Casimiroa edulis variety - younghans, that has a fruit that is almost ripe. It will be my first ever and home grown. The whole family is excited over it especially after our Lowquat fruit we had the other day, another inspiration from your channel. Thank you!
When will the tree start to flower then fruit? I bought a small tree back in october and would like to know when it will flower and fruit? and what kind of fertilizer do you use for it and how often. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
@@RealLifeFruitopia My tree is still quite small- about 2 feet tall. it doesn’t look like it grow fast enough to flower anytime soon this year. i guess i have to wait for it to get bigger before it can flower. Thank you for your response. i really appreciate your sharing. 😀
Awesome George 👍 I snapped up a lemon something drop maybe 🤷🏻♂️ from Daley’s a couple weeks ago and put on back order until my bday 😂 They state it still fruits in colder climates which now makes me wonder if they survive here outside, will I still get fruit. I’ll know one day 😂
If it's lemon drop mangosteen, it has zero chance of surviving in Canberra, I've lost a few over winter inside a greenhouse. When they say cooler climates, it may mean Sydney or Perth, not Melbourne or Hobart. Whatever it is, I hope you can keep it alive.
@@RealLifeFruitopia 😂sorry, lemon gold white sapote I had to check my emails, lol I know mangosteen not possible here 😂 (edit) and to clarify what I meant and when I read it back I didn’t explain correct. if the lemon gold possibly good to fruit in colder climates I wonder if my macs gold and all the other 5 or so seedlings/grafted I have will produce. I’m keen for the challenge 😂
@@RealLifeFruitopia nice one, I wish we had the Hawaiian supreme in NZ. I currently have four grafted Casimiroa's and a couple seedlings. All small plants unfortunately

This variety flowers and sets fruit almost all year. I feed it compost mixed with manure 3 times a year, also a drink of powerfeed every month.

@@Coolclimatetropicalfruits White sapote should be fine over there, just baby them first 3 winters.
@@RealLifeFruitopia correct👍that’s what I do with all citrus, 🤞 most will hold fruit
Lemon Gold I assume! I am envious, I never seem to get notified when new varieties become available!
Ive always noticed your tree guards, what is it you are using around the base?
