  • One of my all-time favorite tunes. Check out Ray Charles' version from the After Hours album.
Play my old Gibson J50 with a MXL mic. I'm still trying to work out the best way to record acoustics in my room so pardon and extra noise picked up by the microphone.
Hope everyone is staying warm out there!

Jack! Everything you play is pure gold. No crazy shredding, no show off licks - just music. The most truly musical guitarist on YT

Terrifically expressed! You are one of the very few to appreciate masters such as Fats Waller, in this case, and the great Grant Green.

One of the most interesting and incredible guitarists and musicians out there. I really do hope more people have the good fortune of hearing your music and discovering you. You absolutely deserve it.🌟

As a very recent convert (well sort of) to Jazz, I can now appreciate the beautiful sounds one is able to achieve. Your video tutorials have been a tremendous help for me, in understanding how to play Jazz Guitar. So much so, I am now part of your Patreon group. Thank you Jack.

Excellent playing, and I hear great examples of exactly what you teach. I'm no expert, but you might try a high pass filter on the mic channel, 80 to 00 Hz or so, to cut out the boominess?

Jack, the crackling sounds like you may have a noisy transistor in one of the mic. preamps. Or was it raining outside?

'Ain't Misbehaving' ... yeah, ya are, Jack. Ha ha. 🤣🤣
Wow. In all my years, I've never heard that song played like that. And I love it!
That has real feel in it, Jack. I seriously wish I could fly to Nashville and Jam with you one day. It would be like 10 years learning curve for me in one session.
You're in a class of your own, brother. 🤩
