This is why the US government has banned Chinese EVs and batteries, because the US is losing the game, the only thing a loser can do is flip the table.

    • @merrick6484
      @merrick6484 7 месяцев назад

Industrial 4.0 is more than a light-less (No human operator) factory, but yes, its part of Industrial 4.0.
Industrial 1.0: Upgrade from human to steam engine power manufacturing.
Industrial 2.0: Computer assisted with data collection and analysis.
Industrial 3.0: Automation and robotic assisted on every step of manufacturing.
Industrial 4.0: Customised manufacturing with consumer behaviour integration.
Example: The consumtion of every products used by a city / nation will be collected and analysed, and feed in as input data before automated production.
Whenever I wish to buy a packet of chocolate, 5 lt of milk, a jumble pack of toilet paper roll, or anything. My local super market will stock my products at the right time, right package and right brand.
Manufacturer don‘t have to rely on human estimation of production items.
      Thats industrial 4.0.

Not only a conundrum, but dangerous.
      .
Huge global economy with deficit out of control, rooted in a failing Technology, now facing the *next* technology, championed by a country they have designated "a threat" (they're not).
      .
When the failing country has the largest military on the planet, what might they see as one "solution"?
      .
      "Big Stick"?
      .
The alternative is to essentially go on branded knew to the new "threat" and request they be allowed to join the game.
      .
      What are the odds?

      1000km (600 miles)
Drop that to .... 400(?) for a van.
How many times do you drive a campervan 400 miles without a break?
      .
      My point?
      No more "house" battery.
      .
      Drive 300.
Stop for a brew, top up in 15 minutes, drive 200, 50% remaining, you use about 5% overnight *maximum* for heating, cooking, etc.
If you must have a backup, a small all on one "power station".

    @10:00, a small correction.
While the accessory battery directly operates all the computors, lights, etc. it is the TRACTION (or drive battery) that resupplies that smaller ("auxilliary" or "starter") battery (12V or in newer cars, 48V).
The battery you display is quite large for an auxilliary battery and i think it's the main battery for a small EV or trike.

The BYD system is a HYBRID.
      Outdated tech, no longer necessary.

It will vary from vehicle to vehicle

You mean "what is the gravimetric and volumetric Density of the cells"
      .
Then you can work out what *fits* in the vehicle.
      .
      Next,
What is the cost per kWh at pack level.
      .
Now you know how much a specific pack will cost.

ANYONE in US government watching this should be thinking
      Holy SH**
      We're Screwed!
      .
(But I'm pretty sure they already know)
      .
Decisions made by the US in the next 12 months are going to be a combination of "pivotal" for the future prosperity of the country and/ or DANGEROUS if they make the wrong ones.
      .
China had WON the P*using contest.
It's time for *Humility* for the US.
      .
      Do you think that's likely?

The Chinese can start thinking of a model of distributing their hi-tech recycling plants in the chain of BRI countries - that way wealth are recycled & distributed and a real win-win. The planet stay green and environment clean. E.g Brazil to process computer waste, the recovered product sell back to another manufacturer within BRI countries. Maybe another country in Africa can recycle minerals etc. That way use less, extract less & pollute less. The old Western model of used, discarded & polluted is not sustainable. Just a 2 cent thought.
