GT Goku is actually great. Between his base form with spirit bomb and great skills, to ssj3 and ssj4, comes equipped with lots of options for different play styles
The two ui forms are heavily similar but why other starting in omen when master is superior, ha ha. The online matches where great the super three goku was good. Vito blue was disappointing but the points was obtained and Red Goku was the best opponent of the three.

UI is too ambiguous for Ultra Instinct. Black-haired UI Goku should be referred to as UIS (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) or IUI (Imperfect Ultra Instinct), while gray-haired UI Goku is PUI (Perfected Ultra Instinct) or AUI (Autonomous Ultra Instinct).
I feel that. I tried to differentiate it with how I heard it used in convos where it was either just Ultra Instinct with the black hair, and Mastered Ultra Instinct with the white hair. I get your point tho because I see them using that “Sign” label in the game

I think transforming mid-game gives you a power boost that you don’t get if you start already transformed, besides, UI’s transformation also heals you

I believe MUI is the most common term for Mastered Ultra Instinct, and UIS for sign.
