In 2009, Larry walked into The Wet Bar in Dickson, TN. He had a buddy of his in tow and they asked if they could play for tips during happy hour. I took a risk and told them they could play happy hour that Thursday. If they were any good, I’d keep them as my happy hour gig. They played and I immediately knew I needed Larry as my regular Friday night band. Do I paid them to play. I was always happy with Larry and he was already a local star in a very short time. I knew back then he would be a star. I believe now he is a future Grammy winner. I gave nothing but faith in that young man. What’s just as important is that he is just as good hearted now as he was then. He’s kind, good hearted and loves his family, loves his momma. He’s a good man all around.

Saw him last night at KY ST Fair. I’ve been a fan for a year or two, but he is my FAVORITE. He isn’t one of my favorites or my favorite in some category. He is my favorite, hands down, all categories, the end. He just plays his guitar, opens his mouth and out comes the best music. Yep

This is what country is missing on radio. They won't play him. They are idiots. I loved him on the talent show that Jake introduced him along g with Travis Tritt, Shania Twain. "That's Where I Find God" is an incredible song. He does gospel like no other. I want him to make it big he already is in my book.

Saw him and Jake at Purdue a couple of years ago, no disrespect to Jake, but Larry outsung him all night! Jake was a better performer and crowd pleaser, but no one could deny this dude's talent.

    POT FARMER DANCE SONG %
I got out my pipe stuffed it with pot
You better believe it held a whole lot.
I whipped out a lighter thumbed up a flame
Sucked down that smoke which comforts my brain.
    I tried alcohol smoked cigarettes
They did nothing but give me regrets.
My mom had arthritis could not walk around
I rolled her a joint she danced on the ground.
I thought I was losing my lovemaking knack
After I smoked some to me it came back.
Soon I decided prices were high
I searched for some ground I wouldn't have to buy.
I bargained for seeds from smokers all around
Got in my truck and drove out of town.
I walked through the woods where wild birds nest
Found me the meadow I thought was the best.
I dug up the ground sowed all my seeds
Said a small prayer for strong, healthy weeds.
I watered at night with a five-gallon pail
Mosquitoes went hungry for I wore a veil.
Seven months went by; I thought I would die
Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky.
At night I went out, in a camouflage suit
Used my corn knife to chop down the loot.
I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found.
Came back and got it, when it had turned brown.
I trimmed off the buds, stuffed them in bags
Called all my friends and passed out free drags.
In less than a week my crop was gone
I flew to St. Thomas with a love hungry blonde!!
