What even is this: I always loved boss battles songs in games and I wanted to write music like that. So I wrote it, but I needed to add some context, so I also made this video. I guess is a theme song for my OC?

So, for some reason a year ago I decided that I want to write "video game boss battle" music. But just doing songs wasn't enough, I wanted to go for more and picked up pixel art and guitar. Learned how to animate and make videos. I have 9 more songs like this in production, but animating takes a lot of time, even if it's minimal like this one. Not sure if I'll make music videos like this one for every song, but I'll try. Hope you like it, expect more.
Take your time! Animation isn't something you can rush, and it always turns out better when done carefully. Good luck on the rest of your songs :D
You should make some form of tutorial/guide of sorts to help people make music or just say what you use and what your process is in like a comment.
This isn't minimal animation mate, this is pretty impressive stuff!! I love it and feel like playing a game for this right after watching! Take your time with your projects and keep up the amazing job! I love your videos 💕✨
@@saintlybubbles280 I thought about that, but I am not sure if I will be a good teacher. I might try something like that in the future.
My DAW is FL Studio. Plugins I use are: NES VST, Magical8bit, sylenth, kontakt. Usually I start with chorus, since it's the most interesting part for me to make. I'll start with chord progression, write melody and arrange it. Then I'll move to other sections in the same way. After all sections are done I'll work on details, then mix and master. Hard to explain in details in a comment, sorry.
