As a person who tries to photograph Wolf spiders in the wild, I've only taken one into my home. They have the most amazing ability to stand perfectly still and then transport to another location.
@@amandatracy-cd4wb Almost all spiders are venomous and out of all of the different species there's really only a few that are dangerous to humans. Wolf spiders rarely bite and make pretty good pets.
Isn't it something? I've tried my hand at photographing them a couple of times, and they really do teleport the second you take your eyes off them! lol They take advantage of the dark between flashes too, which is pretty dang smart.
I am so impressed that wolf spider was so aware of its surroundings, even to know that escaping through that hole was an option so soon, so quickly. Wow!! That was a great testimony about their ability.
I used to have a mega phobia of spiders. Seeing as it's an irrational fear I forced myself to get over it. Now I adore spiders and keep a few tarantulas of my own. Your channel is so amazing 👏 😍 thank you.

Honestly you’ll get to the point where you’re no longer afraid of them, my fear of spiders used to be insane but after watching a lot of Kats content I’ve fully gotten over it so hopefully you will too
I do love her videos but I'll never ever stop being afraid of spiders. I have arachnaphobia really bad and I'll always be that way. They're so scary looking but I don't mind watching the videos.
I love lynx spiders, and that one is such a beautiful vibrant green! Can't wait to watch all these spiders grow! And it would be so cool to see those white wolf spiders create some babies!!

I've stopped being terrified of wolf spiders because they have those forward facing eyes like the jumpies do. They are beautiful spiders. The babies on the back just creeps me out.

@MsLenora79 I knew my son caught one about 23 years ago. I'm pretty sure it was a bold jumping spider. He kept it for a really long time and fed him and everything. I let him go because I felt bad for him in the little Tupperware container.
Put him on ur hand and let him bite once! U will not survive longer than 6 minutes He is the most dangerous species of spiders in the world....after 1 minute of his bite, u will start getting illusions of what u scare the most and after that ur face will get red and u will feel like as if someone is trying to put ur head under the water and u will not be able to breathe that time nor u could see anything and at last u will die .....This all will happen under 6 minutes of his BITE

(They're both fine- it figured out how to get out after a few frustrating attempts to free it... It would just hide under leaves and then resume zooming in circles.)
I have white crab spiders in my garden. They are always found on my shasta daisies, white phlox, and sometimes on solidago. My suggestion for your white wolf spider would be to have at least half the enclosure be white.
I reckon you call the male Jack after Skeleton Jack from The Nightmare before Christmas, he has the black and white pinstriping going on like Jack's suit. 💀

Ive owned two beautiful Peucetia lucasi (lynxies) females. That enclosure looks good! More height than widht is good. Mine were very small when I got them and Im so happy I managed to grow both old. I still have their bodies in display. They made quite a bit of webbing and ate flies in different sizes also captured some small moths and other flying inscets for them :) I LOVE Wolf spiders! My dream spider is Hogna carolinensis but living in Finland Idk if I ever get one tho :')

That coffin design for your black widow fits perfectly for it. Because black widows are considered poisonous spiders along with brown recluse in North America
