ඩොක්ටර් ගෞතම් සුබ්‍රමනියම් (ආර්යා) එයාගෙ බිරිදයි දුවයි ඒවගේම එයාලගෙ හෙක්ටික් කියන සුනඛයි එක්ක චෙන්නයි ඉදන් තූත්තුකුඩි දක්වා ගමනක් යනව. මේ යන අතරතුර වාහන තදබදයක් නිසා එයාල යන මාර්ගය වෙනස් කරනව. ඔහොම වෙනස් කරල යන්නෙ “කට්ටියාල්” කියන ගම හරහා. ඔහොම ටික දුරක් යන කොට හදිස්සියේම ටයර් පැච් එකක් වෙලා වාහනේ නවත්තන්න වෙනව. අහල පහල කිසිම කෙනෙක් නැති නිසා ගෞතම් එයාගෙ නෝනයි දුවයි වාහනේ තියල උදව්වක් හොයන් පාර දිගේ යනව. ඔහොම ගියහම හම්බෙන කට්ටියක් මෙයාට කියන ඒ ගමේ යක්කු පෙරේතයො ඉන්නව කියල. ගෞතම් මේක විශ්වාස කරන්නෙ නෑ. ඒත් ගෞතම් මෙයාලව විශ්වාස නොකර ආපහු එන අතරෙ මෙයාගෙ දුවටයි නෝනටයි, නොසිතූ දේකට මුහුණ දෙන්න සිද්ද වෙනව.
ඇත්තටම මේ ගමේ අවතාර ඉන්නවද.? ගෞතම්ගෙ නෝනටයි දුවටයි මොකක් සිද්ද වෙයිද.?
Dr. Gautham Subramaniam (Arya) travels from Chennai to Tuticorin with his wife, daughter and their dog Hectic. On the way, they change their route due to a traffic jam. All this is changed through the village called "Kattial". After going a short distance, the car suddenly has a flat tire and has to stop. Since there is no one around, Gautam leaves his wife and daughter in the car and goes along the road in search of help. When he went there, he met a group of people who told him that there are demons in that village. Gautam does not believe this. But while Gautam comes back without trusting them, his daughter and his wife have to face something unexpected..
Are there really ghosts in this village? What will happen to Gautam's wife and daughter?
