I have been messing with mine for two days and I’ve taken all of it apart. This video saved me! Figured out this was the issue for mine, but with the green wire. Thank you!!!

Thanks for this video! My husband is an engineer, so I trust he’ll fix it properly, but this will save time for troubleshooting. We bought ours off Marketplace and it worked perfectly for the first 3 months until it started stopping & blinking. Our power button doesn’t light up though, maybe the year is different on this model

I just fixed 2 of these and it turned out the light from the sensor was not reflecting off the white markings on the wheel. I took a white paint pen and went over the white and now both work flawlessly. To check your sensor use your camera on your phone and you should see a tiny purple dot when the machine is on. This will confirm wether your sensor is functioning or not

I tried everything and nothing worked. Before tossing it out I tried your white marker trick. You are a life saver. Its running so smoothly now!

So, a big reason why these don’t work is because the sensor above the black wheel at the bottom is an ir reader. Over time, the white paint on top of the wheel fades off and the sensor can no longer accurately read the speed of the motor, causing intermittent shutting down. Hope this helps someone.

I’m sorry, I’m not seeing a black wheel, could you explain further please? This video shows a disconnected wire and everything looks fine to me, but still experience the instantaneous stoppage. Thank you!

@@christianmoca1286 There’s two small square sensors on the platform beneath the scissoring arms. The one closest to the center reads a pulley wheel underneath to judge motor speed. There is white paint on the pulley that eventfully fades giving a false reading to the sensor. You can touch it up with a paint pen by removing the sensor and going at it from the top instead of removing the pulley. Hope this helps.

This worked for me painting the wheel marking white. Thank you for the suggestion! Everyone should pull the white sensor chip out, and check the wheel marking. I’d they are faded / chipped or show black, then paint them white with a chalk pen, white paint pen or white nail polish.

How did you know it was the brown wire that was the defective one? I have the exact same problem...

@Roger4532 I took it apart. Clean all the sensor and it still wasn't working. Gave the wires a "small" tug and it came apart. They wires are extremely thin
