I am confident in my assessment that NOTHING poppy playtime can offer from here on out, can compare to the sheer atmosphere of the first chapter. The dark night, moonlight pouring over huggy's stiff frame, only to see he's gone- seeing him throughout the environment, the way he never talks, feeling like an animal, but an intelligent one, only tied together even further by him bleeding and screeching.
Mommy had her moments, but nah. Huggy is def. scarier.

FNAF still has the same hype, I mean I`m sure it`s gained a little more recognition since It`s Been So Long became a meme last year and Jack Black made a viral TikTok singing about FNAF causing people extreme nostalgia and excitement to join the fandom then after a while, hearing about Scott and Twitter, fans hashtagged #IstandwithScott as well as feeling a sort of ache that your childhood is being cancelled, expiring, or struggling to fit in with society`s new norms allowing for more nostalgia, heck a meme content creator named Memeify made a video about it on it`s 8th anniversary called " We All Had That Phase " detailing our interest and enjoyment in FNAF that most of us experienced as a kid back in 2014 and 2015 then responding about the hate to Scott on Twitter into a melancholy state from hearing this ended with a small message that no matter what, that we were still with him
I wouldn`t say FNAF hype is dying, but more as the genre it is as an indie horror game, if you haven`t noticed, we haven`t see much note of those games we liked such as Bendy, Baldi, or Hello Neighbor , the hype for these type of games may be dwindling even with Security Breach`s release date being announced and the release of Dark Deception Chapter 3, perhaps Poppy Playtime may be the key to reviving the genre since it`s a new game that is already been played by popular RUclipsrs, several fan songs, and people hacking or getting into glitches of the game to catch a sneak peek of what's in store for Chapter 2 along with a couple theories and speculations deterring to the story inside by the obvious pieces of lore scattered mixed with the trailer for Chapter 2 and it`s release

I just miss when times were simpler i guess :" like i remember when The Living Tombstone became the catalyst for just about all of the FNAF fansongs, and then the wave of inspiration hit other creators. To see the franchise and fandom become so big is amazing and I'm still going to be along for the ride, but i think to me it's the thought of another part inside of me i have to simultaneously leave behind and grow up with at the same time. I'm sure people that are fans of literally anything feel the same way. I'm probably just saddened and amazed that i was part of the kids growing up that got to witness the videogame industry, moreso the indie and horror games, take a turn for the better and meet it's next age. It's the same with Undertale/Deltarune, Homestuck, Newgrounds, and the more recent FNF game. These cornerstones of internet culture have left me bewildered in how just one little game on the internet can start a chain of events that changes everything.
I never actually played FNaF but I remember spending hours watching videos about it, not playthroughs or gameplay but little stories and comedy skits that they played. And honestly, it was great times. I was just very young, like 6-9 around that time, and I couldn’t handle any jump scares that the game had. But I still loved it anyway.

Yes! I definitely recommended watching Markiplier and Manlybadasshero playing this game. The scene where Huggy Wuggy chases the player will probably empressed and scare you, so be a little cautious :)

I haven’t played it but I’ve seen many playthroughs and honestly I’m dying to get it even though I know what will happen- the charm that Poppy Playtime has is that it’s more of a story, not just a constant running away from a killer that’s generated by track of movement, there’s actually a specific time that Huggy appears and the rest of the story before that really builds up to it well. There aren’t really any jump scares unless Huggy catches you other than a few pop ups of gas or loud noises coming from toy making machinery. Really great game that I recommend.

Huggy sprinting has got to be the scariest thing I’ve seen in a while. This creature made of soft material with no bones managing to keep a running form like that is terrifying.
There's an unused animation that is very similar to the one in this video, so we may get huggy sprinting after us in the next chapter!

I saw this was a Poppy Playtime song, not really interested, until I realized how good CG5 songs end up being, so I clicked, I didn't regret it! this song is AMAZING!
This just made me think of the fact that Huggy calmly walks towards you for the majority of the time, and that the only time where you would see some of his actual speed is when he breaks down the door and kills you (or if you manage to grab the box and bring it down)... pretty scary to think that because of his size, he could literally power walk towards you and running wouldn't help
Yeah. And it’s only chapter 1. This probably isn’t the last we’ll see of Huggy and we don’t know yet if there’s anyone else like him or Poppy.

When first listening to this, I didn't really like it... but the second time, now I can't get it out of my head and I can perfectly think of a video to go along with this! This movement is by design obviously meant to be unnerving at first glance but in my experience after a bit it quickly loses its scare factor for whatever creature it’s used with
That being said, the incredibly, **perfectly** fluid animation of this… “thing”.. it is on a whole different level of unnerving
It legitimately looks and moves like it’s actually alive and so unpredictable that it can and will do *literally* anything and that is genuinely f$$king terrifying
And I love everything about it
This looks so promising to be the next great horror game
