Big thanks to Court n Heather. Court great insight on the nuts n bolts of motorcoach maintenance awareness. Awesome. Andrew, I see you migrating to a Prevost in the near future. Great mini-series with MidlifePrevost. Thanks to all.
This maybe my favorite Prevost video yet. Huge thanks to Andrew, Court and Heather for there time and knowledge. Can’t wait to be part of the community.
Heather said 2003 ish? So that's a 17 year old coach? Very very nice. Very gracious of these 2 lovely people to share with all of us. Sadie and Monkey got their own little action game going on, awesome. Great video Andrew and as always give Sadie some love for me and throw a little monkeys way as well. Dogs are awesome.
Gen set in my Prevost is on a roller carriage which makes access and maintenance easy. The four air bags need to be checked every 6 months or so as they lose a few pounds of air. Be careful not to over inflate as they do not take very much air and inflate in just a few seconds. My coach was converted by Marathon and the gen set exhausts thru the roof also which makes it exceptionally quiet. Currently in Arizona for the winter. and curious about the ocean campground where this video was done ?
@John Watt where in AZ are you? Would love to meet up and see your gen setup maybe its something we can convert in ours my email is midlifeprevost@gmail.com
View reminds me of the coastline around Palos Verdes Penn., Socal. 90274. Interior looks great, somewhat art deco. Surprised no one has installed interior wooden shutters, ( over windows) have seen few steel interior shutters, which guards against breaking in via glass. One Prevost saw, had computer on board, which would zoom out 100ft while driving, to warn of any animals crossing in frt of the bus, to warrant off crashes. When the windows are open, hot outside, do you smell the diesel, heard this is common complaint? Great vid. Dogs are great. My dogs are trained to use the toilet for #1, #2.
A cheap and simple way to avoid the fumes of a generator exhaust is to buy a Genturi exhaust system that deflects the fumes up over your coach. I have a Winnebago where the bedroom window is over the generator exhaust and the Genturi has been a life saver.
Pablo Cruise Can you recommend any videos about how to drive these? We have a class c so not really a problem but my dream is to one day have a class a. I just can’t imagine driving one, especially around an urban area. Grew up in the city and would marvel at you city bus drivers. Keep up the good work!
Andrew, awesome videos...I'm hooked on your channel! Keep 'em coming. Heather and Court, would you be willing to share how you went about finding your pre-owned Prevost? We have a 1999 American Eagle that we have loved for years (the thing is built like a tank), but want to upgrade but the build quality is crap on all the the new and late model higher end production coaches we have looked at. We really think a 10+ year old Prevost conversion is the way to go. Oh, and where is that beach campground you guys go to in San Diego? We live in NorCal but get to the LA & San Diego area at least once or twice each year.
Andrew, do a video on installing/removing tire snow chains on RV, it is a long task......snow is hitting Socal this Thanksgiving weekend, many RVers will not be ready with the snow chains, plus with these huge units, chains are very heavy and take up lot of room.
I would love to but I think my video would just advise folks to stay South away from the winter weather 😎 I'm in Arizona guy so I have no knowledge of putting chains on tires but I appreciate the thought.
Court says he has always kept the auto Gen. Start off. So no, no concerns with it starting while emptying. You could turn off the breakers at the gen if you were concerned 👍
Heather and Court ah Ok i lived down there for a couple years a long time ago, I was trying to figure out were that park could be. Not a lot of places for a 45 footer in San Diego 🤣
RVing with Andrew Steele thanks. I’m curious because many of the ones I’m finding in what I think will be my price range gave around 85k-135k miles and I’m wondering if that’s about what theirs had or if they found one with less. Thanks Mike
Heather and Court awesome. Seems to be about what I’ve been seeing. Still a LOT of miles left in her. Thanks for the reply. P.S. I just started following you Instagram page. Great pictures. Mike

About a year of searching online and locally here in AZ.... we factored an interior update in this purchase too
@@midlifeprevost1182 Good to know...thanks for the info. Half the fun is in the hunt, right? Safe travels in that beautiful coach!

@@RVingwithAndrewSteele Here is a link to installing/removing snow chains. It is a very hard task. ruclips.net/video/96Tv-lko3Mo/видео.html
There is no way in heck I would take a Prevost up a snowy mountain road. You can leave that to the truckers.
Not even an RV 'R but love your content bro you need your own show new subscriber
That coach is so gorgeous!
Wow twin 4000w inverters. I’m sold.
Izzy
Izzy any battery or power source question you have message Court he has a lot to say about appropriate power 🤣
Heather and Court
We will be reaching out for our next coach for sure.
Just wondering any safety precautions built in or taken to prevent the generator from coming on while draining the oil from the unit?
Court says he has always kept the auto Gen. Start off. So no, no concerns with it starting while emptying. You could turn off the breakers at the gen if you were concerned 👍
Where were they parked? Nice view
Carlsbad, CA

@@heily-3806 you are so right!!!
Dumb question - what brand of coffee maker?
Just out of curiosity, how many miles were on their Prevost when they bought it and how many now after two years of ownership?
Thank you.
Mike
Great question! I will try to track that down for you.

We bought it with 110,000 miles and we are up to 122,000 now
Heather and Court awesome. Seems to be about what I’ve been seeing. Still a LOT of miles left in her.
Thanks for the reply.
P.S. I just started following you Instagram page. Great pictures.
