Davlina you are a BRILLIANT colorist! I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next! You truly are an inspiration to a lot of us beginners out here in RUclips land. Thank you for going to all the trouble to put your coloring sessions on camera and sharing them with us!! Happy coloring!! 🎨💖🎨
You are absolutely MERMAZING! (I couldn't help myself 😄) I learn many, many things from each video I watch ~ from the little comment boxes to the way your tutorials are filmed, you are my very favorite color artist. Because of you, my coloring pages have gone from second grade art to beautiful pages I'm proud to show off. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing your gift with the world. I will never be as good as you, but that's ok. I'm happy, relaxed and let go of the stress in my life when I'm coloring now and I take pride in the end result, instead of frustrated, crabby and a little embarrassed ~ which was my goal when I started coloring a year ago. Bless you for helping me to accomplish that goal.
Thank you so much I be looking at other coloring and they coloring be so pretty and smooth and they don't tell you what they use but you did and it so pretty thank you and God bless you!!
Love your videos and of course this is another great one! For those that don’t have access to Gamsol for whatever reason you can also use a blender pencil to help get rid of the white. It isn’t as smooth as using the gamsol but it definitely is better than the white areas.
Thank you for all of the information and tips. I really enjoy your videos & the way you color. Keep up with your great work; I love it! 😊 Thanks again.
Yay! Excellent! Let me know how it works for you. Keep in mind that some people seem to get headaches from it so if you feel anything just stop using it.
Hi thanks for your coloring It's really interesting, but you're patient For me, make background is hard, I don't know exactly what colour use to do it!!! Your, it's beautiful 😊😊😍 Continue!!!
+Davlina Art backgrounds are hard and need patience but if done right, they make the pictures POP. So, take a chance with a smaller picture and add a background.
Very lovely. I don't use cotton balls, for the reason I saw you experience with the cotton pieces sticking. I use a type of thick yellowish sponge, artist's sponge??, which works well, retains the liquid. For short projects, I don't close the jar. Thanks for sharing this idea.
Hello! How do you color rocks with coloring pencils? I know that rocks are not just one flat color. How do you make them intersting? You color very well. Any suggestions?
+Cheryl Loux That's a good question. I haven't colored any page with rocks in it yet. What I would do is look at a picture of a rock and try to really see the color difference within the pictures. Some might be grey, where the shadow would be dark grey and the highlighted part would be really light grey or even white. Some rocks are cream colored............ Google a rock picture. You'll get some ideas........hope that helped :)
+Davlina Art Thank you for the suggestions. I really love this new hobby and I love to see all the beautifully colored pages I see from you. Thanks again!
Hi! Thank you! Gamsol is a brand of odorless mineral spirits, so if you can find any other odorless mineral spirit, it should work. Also, I've been reading that using baby oil also gives similar results. I haven't used that method yet and I'm planning on trying it out very soon. Why don't you try that out and let me know if it works for you? As soon as I have tried it out, and if it turns out good, I'll make a video of how to use it. Happy coloring!
gamsol gives me severe headaches, and i noticed others complain about that issue. I recommend using a small container, dab your blender then put the lid on and keep the container away from you. Use a well ventilated space, and a ceiling fan would help as well. The make another called Zest i think is the name. Supposedly no headaches using that one.
You're right, I've heard a lot of people complain about Gamsol. I don't recommend using it if it creates a problem for you in any way! I'll give "Zest" a try. Thank you for the info.
Thank you so much I be looking at other coloring and they coloring be so pretty and smooth and they don't tell you what they use but you did and it so pretty thank you and God bless you!!

Does it have to be Gamsol brand? can it be found at walmart? Can you recommend any other brand?
Hmmm, I believe any odorless mineral spirit should work. I'm not sure if walmart carries them. I bought mine from amazon.
I got the Gamsol!!!! I'm in love with it!!! how did I go so long with out it ?! goodbbye carplebtunel from the blending pencil lol
haha, yes it is awesome. Just make sure you don't breathe in the Gamsol for too long. Some people have complained of headaches.
Hi Davlina! Great video... But, is there a substitute for Gamsol? They do not sell it in Peru, (that I know of)...Any suggestions? Thanks,
