Hey Sean 👋 Nothing wrong with different scale layouts !! I did a multi layout on wheels G scale, bottom middle Ho Scale and top was N scale .Best part i could move it outside of garage...have fun my friend 😎🤘👍 DD
You’re a true model railroader! Have a Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄 thanks Darrell . I really appreciate you watching. Thanks for your comment.
All scales are great in one way or another. Your local train shop is outstanding! Wish we had something like that by me. Train shows are my best option for variety. Good luck, happy holidays and thanks for sharing!
To cool Sean, im with ya on this. Love my N scale, but desire alot of the HO stuff.. so I too am starting an HO layout, but I'm only in the gathering stage.. cant wait to see what you come up with.. merry Christmas

@@NitroStarGT thanks brother. I really appreciate your comment. I always look forward to them and I must be out of my mind. Lol 😂 but yes, there are so many cool locomotives and I’m definitely keeping my Nscale. Someone already making offers on RUclips lol 😂
Wow!! Changing scales is huge. If i won the lottery i would switch to HO dcc sound. There are lot more options for everything. Though i think i would still use kato track because of its reliability. I look forward to seeing your 2new layouts. Good luck and have fun
Hi Sean , go for it. Two layouts of different scales. I have a hard time just keeping up with one. I love my n scale layout and plan on making it bigger. It has crossed my mind when we get in the bigger house. I may do an ho and O scale . For the grandchildren to have and run trains. Good luck with your build and I’ll be looking forward for updates. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family. Remember the reason for the season. 😎😎 👍
lol 😂 that’s exactly right. Sean. The pressure was so hard on me. I had no other option but to buy HO lol 😂 thanks bro. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
I’m selling off all my N scale and been switching over to Lionel postwar. N scale has gotten so expensive and I was tired of cleaning dust off all the scenery and small parts. I have bought postwar rail cars at rock bottom prices compared to one N scale car. I like the old Lionel’s being I had a postwar set as a kid.
I wish I had kept my N scale stuff, had to sell off most of it but kept the Western Pacific rolling stock however it was destroyed in the Camp fire. I've looked into getting back into N scale but your are right, it's too expensive, back in the early 70's I could go to Woolworths and find N scale rolling stock like for a dollar.
I'm in Chico and have bought alot of stuff from Matt's store. Like you said he isn't always there and the only one who can process credit cards. When his wife or friends are there you have to use cash. I have a short video with the union pacific passenger cars I bought from him at the train show. Got all of them for just $60. If buy em new it cost more than that each. I wish I could have got the BNSF AC4400 dummy engine he had but I was on a budget. His wife is funny with the things she says.
Man, that is awesome. I was just over at Matt’s today reading your comment and I appreciate your comment. Thank you so much, and Matt says the same. 👍 Merry Christmas. 🎁
I started out as an HO scale modeler as a child (n scale kinda sucked back in the 70's), but later on as an adult, my son was born and as he reached an age where he could appreciate the hobby, he went and broke ranks and after a couple of train shows decided he wanted to model N scale.........ugh...........but it was ok cuz its 2010 and N scale has become some quality stuff, so i decided to jump in with both feet, and we started scoring stuff and building a layout, and like you would expect things grew fast. But im still HO at heart, and ive not only kept all the HO stuff ive ever accumulated, ive continued to score stuff here and there. Moral here is that im not sure one can successfully ''leave'' one scale behind.......what i think youre gonna find is your biggest challenge will be not continuing to spend money on both scales........twice the scales, twice the money, twice the fun. I subbed you, cuz uh.....lol.....this i gotta watch.
Nice sorry about the late reply. I’m currently at work right now. I work night shift, but I hear you loud and clear about doing two scales and spending twice the money. I’m hoping by doing two small layouts. I only spend a little money 😆lol. i will see, but I’m excited I can’t wait. I remember getting into Nscale just like you and your son. My dad was HO and when I got old enough, my dad built me a N scale then I got out of it and now I’m right back into it, but it never left my heart even when I was out of Model Railroad. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it you watching and also Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎄
