They have worked wonderfully. I bought the Lorax first. I also bought the sole liner but I have not used them. The Lorax I use on my morning walk with just socks. There has been no problem. So I bought two more, my hip has stopped hurting and I have been able to walk without a limp. I bought two more pairs of shoes, I love them! I plan on buying the boots. I had some problem with size on the two of the pairs of shoes. The customer service has been excellent. They replaced with no problem and I did not have to return the shoes they replaced.
Thanks @June for your comment. I'm glad they worked out for you. What also got me mad about this company is that the same shoes are listed in Temu for 11.95USD, after paying $60USD for them. I actually found that information AFTER recording my video, even though I made a comparison in the video to Temu quality products. Again, thanks for your comment.
@@alicial1239 it’s funny I don’t feel ashamed, oh yeah that’s because you made an ass of yourself with your assumption that I was paid. I am not paid, used my own hard earned money. Shame on you for assuming otherwise with no proof.

@@MariahWadsworth thanks for mentioning temu. I looked and they don’t have the boots I want. I also am concerned whether temu has good customer service.
Lorax Pro is my favorite shoe. I have Four pairs plus a pair of winter hi-tops. Only ones I know that "box" my toes just right. If you use the inserts, they will not fit right. I just wear a footy with them.
@@MariahWadsworth same here. I have severe foot swelling after surgery and I'm in pain and in a rehabilitation facility. I was googling shoes to wear with swollen feet and found these shoes advertised as if they're meant for swollen feet. I found your video. As soon as I saw the cheap soles, I didn't want them. Thanks for taking the time to make your video and also save me the trouble.
I totally understand where you're coming from, but I have to say I'm really satisfied with my Lorax shoes. Barefoot shoes are meant to give you that close-to-the-ground feeling, which can be a bit of an adjustment at first. But once you get used to them, the support and comfort are amazing! They've really helped me, and I hope you’ll find the same once you give them a bit more time.
Thank you for doing this video. I was going to buy them but, something just didn't seem right to me, they seemed to thin. I thought how can a shoe that lets you feel every rock, stones, and what ever else on the ground be comfortable. So I started researching and ABSOLUTELY NOT, will I be throwing $50 on these shoes. After all my research and videos I've seen, they should be called water shoes, pool shoes, or beach shoes! That's about all they are good for! They offer no support of any kind 🌹
I am glad the video helped you make an informed decision. Actually, after I did the video, I found the same shoes in Temu for $11.59!!! They are also available on Amazon for $50+. It's crazy that they can get away with something like this.
They are called barefoot/ wading shoes for a reason. They are made by Hike but that doesn’t make them a hiking shoe. They are good for rock wall climbing. I think she didn’t understand the actual use of the shoe.
Thank you @pbjmaster for your comment. The FB ad that I saw, that prompted me to buy these shoes, did not mention rock wall climbing. If it had, I would have definitely not purchased them. At my age, I can't do that type of activity. They were advertised as comfortable walking or any type of activity shoes. For my feet, they were not comfortable specifically for the way they slip off and cheap quality of the material. I understand that they could work for other people, but not for me. Thanks again!
@@MariahWadsworth I walk everyday in my Lorax shoes no problem. I don’t even use the liner, just socks and the Lorax. I now have other barefoot shoes. But I like my Lorax until it gets cold, then I will wear their barefoot boots. Some yahoo in a comment on this video assumed I was getting paid by the company because I like these shoes and they have helped me. I was actually considering a shot in my hip, these shoes alleviate the problem. So put that in your pipe and smoke it, old yahoo.
what the heck are you complaining about, they are called BAREFOOT SHOES for a reason, supposed to mimick walking barefoot, and the holes on the sole are so that if you go hiking and cross over a stream or walk through water, the water drains out through the holes instead of standing in the shoes
Unfortunately I didn't see this before I bought them. I agree 100% with this review. They do not offer a full refund either. They will exchange or offer 30% back. They are very comfortable but they do slip off. The sizing is inconsistent. I did buy the insoles and I liked them but they are pricey.
Thanks @Gigi-Jones for your comment. I didn't get to even speak to their customer service department so was not aware of their return policy. I had the chance to use the shoes over a month after I bought them and by that time, I had thrown out the envelope in which they were delivered and had deleted the order confirmation emails. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks again for watching and for your comment. I really appreciate it.
Wait, it doesn't sound like you know what you bought. This is a Barefoot shoe. Everything you're complaining about is due to the Barefoot experience. You complained about the thin soul and feeling the ground beneath you but that's how all barefoot shoes are made so you can get a Barefoot experience while protecting your feet. You complained about the holes in the bottom of the shoe but that's how many shoes are made because of air flow and the prevention of smell. Also if you are barefoot, you will get water on your feet just like if you're wearing a Barefoot shoe, you will get water on your feet. All I wear is barefoot shoes and they're all made just like these. This pair is my favorite because they have great grippy souls and I can walk on any surface including wet rocks.
Thank you @BohoHomeGirl. I'm glad these shoes worked out for you. They were certainly not what I expected. I have two major problems with them: 1. They fall off while I walk. 2. I paid $60USD for them and while I was making this video, I saw the exact same pair listed in Temu for $11.95USD. So I paid almost 5 times as much.
@@MariahWadsworth thank you for sharing that about Temu. They don’t have the boots I want. I paid the larger price too. But two pairs I bought didn’t fit like the Lorax. So they refunded my cost and replaced the shoes at no additional cost. I don’t know if you get the same level of customer service from Temu.
Hi @June-i7k, I didn't buy my pair from Temu, I got them from Hike Footwear. When my pairs arrived from Hike Footwear there was nothing in the package for returns and I also did't try wearing them until about two or three weeks after I had purchased them. By that time, I had deleted their email confirmation, everything, so I didn't try returning them. Wish I had. Oh well, I'll take this one as a "live and learn" experience.
@@MariahWadsworth that’s where I got mine too. They replaced. I did not to return. I would call them on the number listed in their website. Their customer service is excellent. At least in my experience.

You don't understand these are BAREFOOT SHOES! You are supposed to feel the ground that's the point your foot can now flex and move as it was intended. What did you expect these are not regular shoes what don't you get? After 6 months of wearing these my feet have never been better. Man up and wear them for a while yes your feet will be sore that's part of the process. Don't listen to this lady.

I'm glad they work for you. Just curious, did you buy your pair through Hike Footwear or through Temu? After I posted the video, I saw that Temu had them for $11.95 and I paid close to $60, which made me even more mad at Hike FW.

@RLB1923 thank you for your comment. I did buy these based on the Facebook ad and the amount of "satisfied" customers that appeared to be endorsing this product. The heel tab on my pair is extremely flimsy and doesn't stay up. But from Toe to heel, they fit. I do sew and so you have me thinking that if sew a piece of elastic on the heel tab, I may be able to wear them.
