This song has a very special place in my heart...so I loved this girl (lets name her R) R was a quiet girl yet everybody liked to be with her. I didnt talk with R for the half of my semester. I only noticed her dm like some few days after my half semester was done and saw the msg, i did kinda crush on her from the start but i rlly couldnt talk cuz i was just shy. She just seemed really nice and chill and even got some notes when i needed it and here is the beginning, it was humble but it meant so much for me and i didnt know how much it would till of now. We started to talk with each other, both of us were introverts but we used to get pretty good conversations. It was just 5 months ago i found this song while we were having conversations on our fav songs, i was scarred of sending it to her cuz i just didnt want to confess yet. I was just absolutely into her everytime i heard this song. Time flew by fast and my feelings for her grew even more and we had late night convos till 5am or 6am. I confessed to her, i showed all my emotions, on how she helped me with so many things. It was one sided (spoiler, it really wasnt, so the feelings were mutual after all

The song is so cute, but the lyrics hurt badly. Can partially relate to the whole situation of unreciprocated love, not because she doesn't like me back, but because any relationship are simply impossible for objective reasons (living in different countries and being too young and broke to finally meet up irl) . And all I can do is just build maridge-far-going dreams in my mind and try to look satisfied with everything, although of course I'm not ok, at this point it has been lasting for couple of years and honestly makes me feel very depressed. I'm so detached from reality it's scary...
