*ATTENTION* If you want to *FULLY automate* the process without the need of gunpowder read this: Instead of supplying the machine directly with gunpowder, you can make your own using the following machines: Crusher (turns cobblestone to gravel) -> Enrichment Chamber (turns gravel to flint) -> Crusher (turns flint to gunpowder) If you are playing a Modpack like AllTheMods 9 you can simply use a Igneous Extruder to fully automate cobblestone, just put one lava and one water on one of its sides, and pull the cobblestone out of the Extruder and into the first Crusher using a Logistical Transporter, and BOOM fully automated.
finally someone that explains it like it should be, especially at the end where you show the process while its busy. some people just keep stalling, or are confused themselves when showing this setup. thanks to you i can now take appart the spaghetti setup i have, and line it up nicely against a wall!

Tips I would have appreciated was that gas blocks need gas upgrades to get speedier, how to make a 4x proces if you want to wait with upgrading to x5 and finally a survival way of generating water and power rather than using creative hacks. Also sometimes pipes interact with each other and the wrong gas or fluid gets into the wrong pipe and you have to empty it to get it to connect to the other pipe and tips on how to do that would've been nice. Otherwise really good tutorial, thanks.
Nice tutorial, but I would definitely not use Gunpowder itself, I would produce coal or get sulfure other half or full automatic ways. Let's be real, no one has that much gunpowder. Also, im playing on 1.12.2 and I always use ENDER IOs Conduits. They're so much easier to use and look pretty nice.

@@johnrein4810 Simple Storage is easy to get into, but uses actual physical storage. Whereas Refined Storage uses digital storage. It takes up less space in your base, but also takes up a good amount of resources to start. I like the Simple Storage wireless grid more because you can pair it with FTB Chunks, or any chunk loader, to access your storage from literally anywhere in the world. Refined Storage has a limit to how far you can be from your network. They both have their pros and cons.
seems like I have an issue with producing enough brine to produce hydrogen chloride. I have been looking it up and people have been saying to make more towers at max height.
If you have Integrated Dynamics, a mechanical squeezer (depending on modpack) will give 3 raw +2 additional @ 50% chance from normal ore so silktouch is great in this instance. On the Direwolf20 1.20 pack im using the digital miner in silk touch mode for all my ores then each ore has it’s own power and processing setup to make them into crystals (just before hydrogen chloride step) making 3 raw into 10 ingots at the end point or 1 ore = 10+ ingots
Do you guys know if tihs works if I run it with nitro reactor from Powah that is 500 million TFE in total? What cables should be used? I want to prepare all of the resources in VH for that. Thanks!
tried following the guide on the quest book and it was not going well. Sitting in the same place stumped for 4 hours but with this i finished the entire thing in 3 (I didn't have everything on hand XD)
Whenever I take my advanced pipe from the first chemical infuser which is outputting hydrogen chloride, to my last chemical injection chamber which is processing the crystals, it dumps the whole buffer instantly, I tried to put an elite tank in between them to let it build up and even when I have 10,000 units of hydrogen chloride in the tank, the second I hook the pipe up to the chemical injection chamber, it dumps it instantly. I don’t understand why
I figured it out, I needed more heat in my thermal evaporation plant.. I also made a second set of the first 3 machines, so that I was only outputting to one chemical injection chamber per line up

hi i'd like to add that if you have create installed you can make a tree farm and turn it into charcoal replace having to put gunpowder in

you can use cobblestone to make gravel, to make flint, to make gunpowder. A lot easier to obtain and make what you want

why do you do it with gunpoweder instead of coal?
In the mod pack vault hunters I don’t think you could use coal
