    Best part about it is you can actually thread the pipe in place without having to remove it and mount on the stand. Great for electrical rigid pipe runs where you need to cut an existing pipe and thread it or put a full piece up to get a measurement and cut it, no need to remove it to get the thread done. Definitely worth buying it

      And it pays for itself in just a couple jobs...definitely saves time

    Since 2015 I've been ising the Milwaukee longthrow presstool with the Viega Megapress G fitting and i love it. But i always carry my manual one because you still need to do some small threads on some occasions, ive been looking to buy one since it came out

    I do have 1 question though... no oil is required to cool threads?

    This is great, but maybe to expensive, don't get me wrong I love milwakee and I have many of their toils, the thing is that I don't do a lot of gas work, most of my gas work is when I replace water heaters, so what I did, I bought a none brand and it works wonderfully I maybe use this thing like 6 times per year, I believe I pay around 900.00 for it, sorry I don't remember the brand. By the way awesome video. Please make videos about the type of sewer camera you have.

    The entire Milwaukee platform is undoubtedly great across the board, but the Dewalt 60v threader more than holds it own...

  • @plumbbuild6517

    I'd like to have one but my corded threader is still like new I can't justify spending $1700.00 to not use a cord I have a Milwaukee propress and mega press jaws so small jobs I cut the pipe clean and debur press and gone, Big jobs a little Different

    What are your thoughts on the 60v dewalt version, all my tools are dewalt and would be a pain to just have 1 Milwaukee tool?

    • @callmemika839
      @callmemika839 3 года назад +2

      I was looking at the DeWalt threader vs Milwaukee and there are a few things Milwaukee does better. The Milwaukee 1. locks the dies onto the threader. 2.the pipe clamp is smaller and not clunky like the DeWalt. 3. since the dies are locked on the tool, you can use it on a overhead repair much easier, say a steam pipe. I really want to get the DeWalt but the design is just better on the Milwaukee. The DeWalt does have a promo currently with a free band saw. Im on both platform and some tools I like DeWalt better and others I like Milwaukee. I'm not brand bias, it's what ever suits my need and I will go with that.
