Yo Roger! That is a sweet tool! I just got into the Milwaukee m18 and m12 fuel platforms during these past holidays and the tools I got are great so far. Nice vid brother! I hope all is well and your having a wonderful day. Stay safe my man!
Best part about it is you can actually thread the pipe in place without having to remove it and mount on the stand. Great for electrical rigid pipe runs where you need to cut an existing pipe and thread it or put a full piece up to get a measurement and cut it, no need to remove it to get the thread done. Definitely worth buying it
Since 2015 I've been ising the Milwaukee longthrow presstool with the Viega Megapress G fitting and i love it. But i always carry my manual one because you still need to do some small threads on some occasions, ive been looking to buy one since it came out
Its great.... I only use milwalkee power tools. With their big selection that are catered to the plumbing trade.... I do have 1 question though... no oil is required to cool threads?
I’m using this to do the from 1/2” to 1 1/2” black pipe for the entire house and garage and grade 316 stainless steel 1/2” and 3/4” pipe for the entire house and garage works good as long as you don’t go much below a 8” long nipple
This is great, but maybe to expensive, don't get me wrong I love milwakee and I have many of their toils, the thing is that I don't do a lot of gas work, most of my gas work is when I replace water heaters, so what I did, I bought a none brand and it works wonderfully I maybe use this thing like 6 times per year, I believe I pay around 900.00 for it, sorry I don't remember the brand. By the way awesome video. Please make videos about the type of sewer camera you have.
Good to know Rodger I was curious if this thing was worth the price tag. How do you feel about the Milwaukee snakes? The switch pack or the augers? Looking to upgrade from my weekend warrior stuff to a professional rig. Thank you brother. Laurin carpenter local 42 Norwalk
I'd like to have one but my corded threader is still like new I can't justify spending $1700.00 to not use a cord I have a Milwaukee propress and mega press jaws so small jobs I cut the pipe clean and debur press and gone, Big jobs a little Different
I was looking at the DeWalt threader vs Milwaukee and there are a few things Milwaukee does better. The Milwaukee 1. locks the dies onto the threader. 2.the pipe clamp is smaller and not clunky like the DeWalt. 3. since the dies are locked on the tool, you can use it on a overhead repair much easier, say a steam pipe. I really want to get the DeWalt but the design is just better on the Milwaukee. The DeWalt does have a promo currently with a free band saw. Im on both platform and some tools I like DeWalt better and others I like Milwaukee. I'm not brand bias, it's what ever suits my need and I will go with that.
Hey there Roger. Considering either this threader OR the M18 MegaPress... have you had a chance to use the MegaPress yet? BTW, Check your FB PM from me. Thanks!
What do you think? Is this a game changer?

I think I would jump for joy if you made a video about taps and dies! :-)
Used it all weekend. It can literally replace our rigid machines. It’s amazing
Same company TTI also makes Rigid power tools. The Rigid plumbing tools are Emerson.
Just used it today on 2” pipe and wow, this tool is amazing!!!

And it pays for itself in just a couple jobs...definitely saves time
@ absolutely 👍🏻
i'm not a plumber but i would love to use that all day long for threading
It's a fun tool to use!

Great review! Thank you Roger...

Milwaukee is awesome. It looks like he put oil on at 2:35.
You always need oil
Milwaukee makes great tools ,the saw saws are the still the best.Any thing to make putting threads on pipe easy Iam for
Home Depot has one with two batteries and a compact m18 fuel bandsaw for 1699. I went ahead and got it
We got one recently I love it, tho I do still love my machine and ratchet dyes

So you thread or do you pro press your gas. Positive and negatives to having both or just one
I love my ridgid 700 maybe when it goes bad i will try something else🙊
Yoo that’s freaking crazy!!
Never seen that before.. could come in hand. Will mention to my formen about it haha.
It make's threading pipe SUPER easy! You'll love it
The thing is great! Much more efficient, alot lighter than an ol Rigid 300.
Yes it is so awesome 👌
I love power not worried about dead batteries

I want one just to be able to say I have one!
DANIEL Dawson this is one of the coolest #Milwaukee tools I have ever used!!! They are upping the game!
I would buy one but have big money in a plug in ridgid one just like it.
Love to get one but the price is keeping me away.
Benny how much does this tool run?
@@alfonsoh3 its around $1700.00 and it doesn't come with dies it has 2 batteries and a charger the threading machine and a pipe vise
Please give an update in a couple months of how it holds up. Thanks
it has a 5 year warranty so.......
This is suitable for hrad metal pipe
Do you have a Facebook group? You should!
Milwaukee is the best
Do you use your rigid dies ?
It uses you Ridgid 12R dies.
Yo Roger!!
nice
The entire Milwaukee platform is undoubtedly great across the board, but the Dewalt 60v threader more than holds it own...
I'd like to have one but my corded threader is still like new I can't justify spending $1700.00 to not use a cord I have a Milwaukee propress and mega press jaws so small jobs I cut the pipe clean and debur press and gone, Big jobs a little Different
Hmmm 🤔 so tempted to grab this with my Tax returns, but my boss is going to stick me on gas forever if I do 😂👌🏼 I don’t want a smelly car 🚗
What are your thoughts on the 60v dewalt version, all my tools are dewalt and would be a pain to just have 1 Milwaukee tool?
