The Cow in the display case is called a nodder and they're really cool.😅 I have a smaller one that is a Lion 🦁 I'm not sure on the date of manufacture but it's my guess is the late 30's to early 40's..👌 Love all the good things you are seeing in these antique shops and emporium.🎉 Take care.👍🔥❤️🤘
watching this particular vid was as humorous as it was a great way to show what other antique/vintage stores have to sell ... good way to start the day ...
Alex, the pay phone still works and they still do full reenactments of the battle. We have a old original rock home from a homestead on our property around the 1700's that is currently being renovated. So many treasures in Prairie Grove, Happy you were here!
Hey glad you made it over to Prairie Grove. I use to be a Civil War reenacter. I've been to Prairie Grove a couple times. It has unique history behind it and some other stories that you might here about at the battlefield.
I love your adventures & your wealth of knowledge about all sorts of collectibles. What a beautiful grand old house. I love that Aunt Jemima figurine. 👍👏😊 Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊
I am sure I saw a Borden's Milk Display once similar to the possessed cow. . The Cool old toys we never saw in our youth, That Clock table was very unique. Cheers
What a fun time looking through antique shops/flea markets. By the time you are ready to go home you might have to get another bag just for you finds. lol Have a great day and safe travels
Somehow I missed how you come to be in Arkansas, but I am enjoying these videos. I used to love wondering through small antique and thrift shops. Many useful items and gifts were purchased. Thank you for another fun and interesting adventure video. 😊😊😊
Alex my wondering traveler. What a great little town. The antique shops are incredible. So much to see and enjoy. I would love to be there with you. Wonderful place to visit. Until next time. Please, take care and stay safe. I love you 🍺🇺🇸🕊🙏❤️👍🌈🌞😇🌹
try Mountain View , AR your wife would love it they play lots of music on weekends and they have some old shops or a town called Sedalia, MO that was a cattle town back in it's day
Used to love haunting antique shops years ago. Unfortunately, these days with the internet and sights like Ebay it's hard to come across a real treasure at a reasonable price. Those days are pretty much gone.
I've been wondering the same thing. As Alice said, this is getting curiouser and couriouser. Has Alex said exactly why he's in Arkansas? I can't believe he's away from his family and home business just to tour antique stores and make videos. There must be something else going on we're not privy to yet.
Alexander made these videos a few weeks ago but because he had a few, it’s taking a bit to catch up to current time :) Right now we’re at home and Alexander is on his way home from a car show :)
Will you be traveling south to Little Rock? Lots of vintage stores in the area. My daughter and I have a booth at Midtown Vintage Market in Little Rock. It’s a really great store.
Historical marker for a phone booth? I live in Arkansas and a lot of small towns around me still have working phone booths. It has become a common sight around here and most people don't even notice them.
Although you try to make things better along your way, there's always someone following behind and messing it all up (ie The Potter House, Ice Cream Shoppe) whether greedy officials or lazy entitled slobs. I'm sorry you and your family had to experience that. You didn't deserve it at all.
Sorry to tell you but the cow with the bobble head was not a cow. Cows have utters and that stern did not have one. You need a course in gender identity. haha
these videos are so frustrating...I mean we know you are travelling so need to be careful what you buy, but you don't seem to buy anything, so what is the point of these vids except to advertise for the places you are going
"Yeah I said nifty, and I meant it too!!" LOVE IT!
My maternal great-grandfather, Solomon Danner, fought in the Battle at Prairie Grove. He is in the reunion pic located in the museum.
❤
I love seeing Antique shops, no matter where they are. Keep em coming Alex 😊
Only you could make me want to go to Prairie Grove Arkansas. What a great little town
I love your sense of humor! And how much you know about lots of things!
"Yeah I just said nifty and I meant it too" LOL The WAY you said it. ;) My new favorite phrase.
Curiosity Incorporated is like a box of chocolates: You never know what you're going to get. (But it's always interesting 🙂)

There was a price-tag on the Royal Crown cola sign.

If you come to Kansas Hutchinson Vintage Market is a huge antique market.
All this made me htink of Zoltar (?) I miss him.
Approaching a month away from Canada.
I saw that bronze of the horses in the BBC antiques roadshow not too long ago
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Alexander!
Speaking of playing the guitar, we haven’t heard you sing in a while.
Alex, did you lose your way home 😅 I do like Arkansas. The people there are very friendly and hospitable. However, missing Melissa and the homestead.

Hi Alex, love the chanel!
I was wondering what happens to any items that do not sell at auction?
Thanks, Martin (UK).
Regarding the monkey portraits, google the artist Donald Roller Wilson. He's a nationally known artist based in Fayetteville.
My dads uncle stayed in that jail in the early 1900s
Looks like you are in antique nirvana down there Alex. You need to drive down next time with a truck!
That was very interesting, but did you buy anything? There was a lot of cool things. Are there.I enjoy your videos😊
Hi AA😊
We still over our old town jail with 1 or 2 cells in it
Funny the second set of letters you found, first frame spells 'NO' again 🤣
I noticed that too 😊

When you were talking price, like that clock table, is that Canadian or American, cause $295 American is like $400 Canadian about?
This is our favorite park. Are you still in NWA?
That's actually supposed to be a "hysterical marker' not historical.
Be on the lookout for Singer sewing machines made in Scotland. They're supposed to be very valuable.
Did u buy the Dukes lunch box?
maybe water ?????

It’s a crime to use a metal detector on Civil War battlefields.
Sorry to tell you but the cow with the bobble head was not a cow. Cows have utters and that stern did not have one. You need a course in gender identity. haha
Cows have "udders."

Showing people cool places to shop and helping promote local Businesses is the most important part of these tours :)
