I'm a Senior .NET Developer and have recently been looking into Laravel for a smaller personal project and this is a very fair and well-rounded assessment imo. The only comment I'd add is that you mentioned Eloquent a couple of times but didn't mention EF Core by way of comparison. I like Laravel though - it's a good solution in the right context.
Thank you! Sure, I should have perhaps mentioned EF Core and compared it to Eloquent. I like Laravel and PHP :) Its a great web framework for mid sized and small web solutions I think.
You are comparing two different things C# is statically typed and compiled language and PHP is an interpreted, dynamically typed language. Your video is good but maybe you could compare C# and Java it will me mere fair.
Sure, I understand - they are different in many ways. I've published videos of C# vs Java on this channel :) These videos aren't intended to go deep into the technologies but are just superficial overviews.
It's essentially a mechanism for providing an overview of two popular technologies :) I'm certainly not trying to put any of the technologies down in any way.
