When you are taking those temps on the KS0's, what are your fan settings? I have mine set at 75% with no addition fan.
For some of us, solar makes the difference as to why we go with lower wattage units

Thanks for sharing this video HM. Some math: you need 105 x K0 miners to equal (or to mine) the same amount of KAS mined by Wind Miner K9 or 2 x Iceriver KS3M (670 vs 70,000 monthly KAS mined). However, from the $/KAS view point this K0 yields the lowers ratio of 0.7.

If a person spent $1200 on KASPA instead of buying a KSO in August, that coin would be worth over $4400 today. The coin mined since then would be about 4000 coins, or $400. It's easy to see which purchase was a better investment. But, mining is fun and eventually you'll recoup the initial investment on the KSO. But in terms of investing? Buying the coin clearly the better move.
But that miner still printing. Brrrrrrrrrr.

@@kr00tman I know. And mining is a lot of fun. But the facts remain: Buying the coin instead of the miner, will get you more coin. That KSO pro is NEVER going to print the 8000 coin you'd spend to buy it.

When you test the wall add a black piece of tape to aim at when you test you get an more accurate temp.

I just point a couple USB fans at my standard KS0 ran off of a USB splitter powered by the ASIC, does the job :-) I might pick up a PRO version once some ETCPOW has rolled in.
Anything to help cool it down.
Just ordered mine, was like f it. Might as well, worse case I lose a few hundred, best case I make a few thousand.

how about just putting a normal oscillating fan , directing into the direction of the KS0 Pro? would that help instead of installing that small fan?
That would work fine, but then you are adding an additional 60 watts of energy to the equation. Those mini fans run at 1 or 2 watts.

Hobbyist are you adding fans to the power supply brick on this unit? I noticed they are super hot too and its concerning.
So 200Gh is only making 46 Kaspa a day? I’m making almost 30 a day with 3 GpUs ; I got receipts

No, cooling does not affect performance, at least with air cooling. Maybe low temps.
That is a hot one and a good idea for the extra fan. Do you have the fan direction removing the heat or blowing down on it?

Try a fan blowing behind the unit and blowing the hot air off the fins and away. That works with GPUs and it should work with a KSO
Pulling the air through. As the fans on the little fans on the bottom pull air in.

So what's going on with the iceriver site. I'm reading conflicting reports saying that it's been hacked but other people are saying that they have placed orders and have received their machines. I'm just trying to find the facts before I dumped some money into this.

You could use thermoelectric (stove) fan with peltier, it's not use electricity just the heat power for work :)

did a video on my kso and it was pkgd different then yours bc I got it from BT miners and not Iceriver. this time I bought it from Iceriver. BT miners took 3 weeks to get it and cost 120buks for shipping. Iceriver it only cost 55buks to ship.

I believe that is it. As it's under 600 so in the US there is no import fees.

Mining in all cases always gets harder/less profitable. Probably better to just buy Kaspa
When are the import taxes paid? At check out? Its really no different than mining Ravecoin.
In the US, usually DHL calls or e-mails you and you pay them. Not sure elsewhere.

LED lights use about 6 watts or lower. You need to stop comparing 65w to 6w or lower.

Why not just buy $500 KASPA ? Your ROI will be 3 months. No electric cost, no maintenance etc. These miners will die as soon as difficulty level increase.
