that was a pleasure to watch, good job to your pops. just me and my bride of 32 years living life in beautiful beaumont california. blessings to whomever is reading this
Really nice to find someone who can fly more than gentle circles. Really nice workmanship on the Cessna and love the inverted spin. I was thinking about the Dare 60 inch Jenny and you pretty much made up my mind to get it. Thanks
Lt. Dan no legs hahahahaha I love it! And the plane is great too! Looks like your Dad really enjoys building them, I just got into balsa building myself and am loving it
If anyone ever tells your father that constructing a kit like that isn't precision and art then tell them to kiss your ass. This is some of the finest work I've seen on a large balsa kit excellent job to the old man!👍👍
Great build, great flight. I love the little details like the articulated pilot. The model looks great. And how about that model room?! Excellent collection.
Wow! Very nicely put together video. I can't imagine the editing that had to go into the final product. Fantastic build and flight. I need to finish building my Tritle Cessna 188 Agwagon that has been sitting for a year untouched.
It is a special plastic that glues and shrinks with heat. Usually you "glue" with an iron all the edges and then shrink down the center section with a hi-power heat gun. This plastic covering comes in various weights (thickness) and colors depending on what type of model you are building. One of the most well known brands is TOP FLITE and it is called MonoKote.

Excellent build. You fly it like you stole it. Wow!

Nice build.
Nice to see the build but at times he even made back hurt bent over so much! Nice collection of planes. I enjoy building more than the flying.

Very impressive I have their P40 but I'm just waiting for retirement to start my build hopefully in two years time.

God beled your dad
Nice video, nice build and nice flying. He should build Pat's Stinson Reliant .
Beautiful job!
Thanks! It was a fun project.
SWEET 👍
Nice job, looks like you fly down south somewhere. Do you mind saying what flying field you are at. Be nice to see this plane in the air.
Thanks! This flight was filmed just outside of Phoenix, Arizona.
I’m four years late but i have been wondering that, does this kit include that remote control or do I have to buy it from somewhere?
All of the electronics... motor, speed control, battery, servos, receiver, transmitter, lights... must be purchased separately.
What is that Aluminum like covering??
