The problem that Engineers faced today is that Engineers need to work for someone else to get experience. Its the product of the institutions that pushes engineers to take that road. The era of inventers has slowed down and engineers of today could hardly grapsed the notion of thinking out of the box. Now things are different we are now placing engineers in the management field away from the field they have learned for many years.
Prof it's very sad seeing bright Engineers working as Technologists and Technicians because the experience gained ends up not being fit for purpose in terms of registration.
Dankie baie vir die presentation, Prof. Meyer.
