OMG I am so super excited to meet you at Wonder Sleeves Downunder! We are going to have a blast of a weekend. Size 14 gym pants! You go girl! I am always so impressed by your continual effort to exercise and your results speak for themselves Cassie. Time to haul my fat ass to the gym I think.
21 weeks! Geez the time is just flying by! :D I get what you mean about carbs, I just try to make them useful (ie whole grains, fruit with fibre etc). :) It doesn't always work but it's a hell of a lot better than pre-surgery! :D Hell yeah WSDU!!! Going to have sooo much funnnn! :D
You have done fantastic and are fantastic! I know the feeling with feelings changing after getting a 'negative' comment. I've gone thought different stages being in or out. We do work at it and deserve to be proud of our efforts. Yay WSDU!!😄
Welcome to the next level of the journey. The second they hear you had the tool they will discount all your good eating and exercise. Even if they see you in the gym everyday...there's no way to win. Just be happy the people who matter understanding that without the work it will only do so much. I don't tell anyone anymore because I'm just tired of being pissed at people. - Phil
Oh I hear you on the jiggly bits! You look AM-AZ-ING Cass, we are our own worst critics. Re: telling people how you lost the weight, I mainly just give the short answer, "I have reduced what I eat and increased my activity", because I just don't want to enter into the whole justification of surgery issue...depending on who I am talking to ;-) 3 weeks til Sydney, whoo hooo!!!
I am out and proud about my upcoming surgery. I feel like I am telling everyone, so to tell someone else later in my weight loss, I will not care what their reaction is because they will not be a person that knows me and my life. My husband and family and closest friends are for it 100%, not one bad comment.
Yeah I even told everyone I work with but that's because I work at a child care center with 30 ladies. So I hope not to run into anyone that doesn't know and hasn't seen me in awhile.
I hear ya about being bigger in the bottom girl.....story of my life! The few people that I have told (some people I just say im eating less and moving more because they dont need to know) and if I do tell anyone I just I was given a tool to help me eat smaller portions but I still need to eat well and work my arse off! If they ask anymore I will tell them but I never take for granted how tough this really is and if they wanna question me or say I took the easy way out then bring it......I have alot to say! Lol
