That Zone Trooper work was absolutely beautiful. And I have NEVER been so gobsmacked by the result. Sybert, you cheek...
That match 5 was pinochle GDI vs Nod. You had the mass firepower of GDI going for a massive push against Nod defenses with…At least the power armor might of Zone Troopers, penetrating deep into the base. But it’s all a distraction as Nod strikes from behind to decimate GDI’s base with stealth tanks. It all fits so well for the factions.

Chimera Soldiers by Max Herve
The satisfaction of watching all those zone troopers melting everything with their railguns is one great thing, but the plot twist that is the stealth tanks backstab is another form of satisfaction.
Action packed battles is the thing to expect from Kane's Wrath. But dramas like these is what one would least expect. Truly a game to experience
that right there is something I did not expect what so ever!

Wow, just wow, that stanks in the back off space base were amazing, insane multitasking by pheonix after such a long break and just amazing editing from you sybert. I genuinely did not see the tanks until your rewind, completely changing the outcome of the game. Once again this extra bit of editing(like with the masterleaf saboteur last time) is so well done and just upgrades the quality of the videos immensely in my opinion. Great showing by the players (so happy to see pheonix again) and awsome cast! thanks to you guys (and the sponsor of course :))
Seconded, moments like that are such class and quality that could otherwise be left out by less dedicated casters.
Nothing beats a Friday evening after a long week's worth of work with some beer, snacks, and your brilliant casting of these games.

Dude I was screaming the whole time hoping phoenix to use the vertigos against the zone troopers or even the catalyst missile
When they wrte taking out the redeemer a catalyst missile could've claimed big chunk of them
@@lolghp299 vertigoes do cannon damage, ZTs only take 5% cannon damage.. so vertigoes are essentially useless against them. I'm not sure about the catalyst missile but since zone troopers are there to survive harsh tiberium environments, i would think it doesn't do much either, which is proven in the video.

My god the rewind at 58:15 caught me completely off guard that was an amazing edit for a wonderfull comeback, what a game man, I freaking love you Sybert
that 2nd game was so well played by space, getting ceramic armor then having the guts and decisiveness to sell off the airfield and do a tech switch when most players would have felt committed to their original plan after it was done half-way through
Game number was insane! Such an intense battle and such a cunning backstabing. Well, I guess it s true that wars are not won on the frontline, but on the homefront

Round 5. No wonder why his avatar kinda playing passive aggressive, and he fed tons of infantry to snipers and zone trooper to make Space happy.
Phoenix's 70% attention was on his stealth tanks.
Game no.2 is an example of why mind control in this game isn't OP, it's pricy and also can be countered if you know the mechanics of the game
the real chicanery is prodigy mind control a building with a build radius, drop signal transmitter, summon mothership, destroy entire base. it's an absolute meme move, but amazing to see work
It's due to the fact Watchtowers can't be baited by vehicles, so they automatically target infantry. Can't say the same for Shredders and Buzzer Hives (they will happily shoot anything that comes into range and can be distracted).

these can use to counter mind control units, i've read so many commend said mind control is broken in this game, but it's not.

Yes, they doing less DPS but at feelably higher range, and also tib troopers are way faster.
Speaking of main / alternative factions:
How's about Bo9 tournament where each player should play each faction exactly once?
So players can pick them in any order, and pick is blind, where each player does not know what other will decide for next match, except last game, of course.
Amazing defense from Phoenix in that second game! I had wondered about the best counter to that Gun walker/corrupter/cultist rush in an earlier video ( ruclips.net/video/qmvA9G1Hwp8/видео.html ), but here Phoenix handled it perfectly even when Space added a base push to the mix.
That blue tib harvester kill in the first game must've been pretty crucial, considering that Phoenix had the better economy despite also rushing more.
Edit: Wow, game 5... I had been wondering what in the world the avatars were doing, seemingly wandering around aimlessly and not targeting the right units. Little did I know Phoenix's attention was elsewhere during that point, completely wiping out Space's economy and production.

i don't get it, phoenix's structure graph shows zero at the end, doesn't that mean defeat?
also i'm pretty sure there were some red buildings on the minimap at the end of the game, why is the graph at 0?

There's a number of bugs still in the game and sometimes the end graphs don't display correctly.

That zone trooer match was so iconic.
GDI: We're OP and are goind to buldoze over your everything.
NOD: Sure, but we're sneaky and are going to demolish your base with stealth tanks meanwhile.
GDI is nowhere near OP, Zone Raiders are close but they are very fragile for their cost and can be countered easily by particle beam Cabals, Ravagers, and Snipers/mass AP ammo Hammerheads.
@@SoldierOfFate Thats zocom. Vanilla gdi (not 1.3 fan patch) is a little overtuned, but its honestly fine.
What I don't get is why don't the players put something big enough to deal with such backstabs, even if it is another unit or something! Or maybe I do not have the mind of a pro player, idk.
Does redeemer's main laser have splash damage?
Don't think so, never checked, but I'm fairly certain it does not.
However if two units are stacked it may, but I think lasers are non-splash.
@@OneSybert Yeh, it's weird to see a redeemer kill two predators with one shot...
anti-spoiler is perfect. way too many sc2 casters do don't that so based on video lengths you just know who wins every time, is sad.
This is why you NEED base defenses with that stealth tank move
