I’ve admired crop dusters all my 77Yrs . I’m a retired farmer of 44Yrs and have flagged many planes starting with the old WW11 radial engine bi-wing planes. Also one of my first spray planes was a Piper Cub which had a tank in the back seat. I still watch them when there flying around my home here on the farm it still excites me 😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My first real job was mixing & loading chemicals into a Rockwell Thrush Commander w an old T-6 radial. First task every day was pulling the prop through about 10 revs. Last was making sure the prop was vertical. Asked the pilot why. Said w a straight face: Because I like the way it looks. Good enough!
Good job Karl, thank you for being a good example representing the Ag Aviation industry! We are fortunate that our fathers worked hard to bring the industry to where it is today. Keep up the good work!
Great video, thanks for sharing. The flying of a fighter pilot, but doing agriculture a great service, not paying year round, but still at the same time, seems like payable fun! Again, thanks for sharing.
I hear it's tough to make a living at it unless you own an established business. Probably good for skill and hour building I doubt they pay pilots much.
So you can change the rate on the go..ok..its a premixed solution so if you cut the rate per acre arent you in essence cutting the amount of chemical per acre? If I cut chemical I have grow back and resistant weeds.. Please explain how this is different in an airplane
Кто смотрел из русских спецов этот ролик !?Я смотрел несколько роликов и обратил внимание на запаздалую реакцыю по крену этого самолета !Или и это качество видео ?
🤔 what are you dusters doing about the ADS B mandate? Quess some of you dont even have radios? I love crop dusters with a VHF air, a UHF business band radio and maybe a Satloc, sorry just a big radio nerd here.🙂👽

What a wonderful legacy to share with your father, and as far as your aviation skills , they are off the charts !

Great video, and really enjoyed the picture of the church at the end!...God is with you..
Boy do I remember this!! Living in the Delta it was all the time!! Great memories!
God is good!!! What a deal! An engineer and a pilot!! How could it be better than that?

Interesting insight into the world of crop-dusting, thank you.
I'm going to be starting a 9 month Agriculture Aviation course this fall. I cannot wait!
Are you a pilot yet? Still as excited?
Goog Presentation. I used to fly for Riddell some years back.
I see that old Farmall back there!!
Had an old friend pass away a month ago from crashing his Air Tractor. He was a good pilot but it is not without its dangers.
Pass away?
Would you have any info on the school thats in louisiana?
Love this video. We got to do what we love!
Would be awesome do this, its a shame that ICE doesn't recognise most ag schools so international students could go over and train.
I always thought those planes looked smaller. Always wondered if there really were people in there when I was
A kid. Lol
Good man, godly man, good for him!
I want to do this, I am working on my comercial right now
Angel Lara I hope your training has gone well, it's an incredibly fun and excited career!
Same here! Good luck!

blastman8888 lmao no they pay well some pilots make 90k a summer they’re first season
Love it! Looks like such an exciting and rewarding (and TOUGH) aviation career!
Wonder why all these type video’s are so old, see very little recent vids.
A damn walking path for a runway?!
No... A walking path is wider
Those AG pilots are good no doubt. I think however some of them push their luck routinely riding the very edge of the performance envelope.

I’d imagine it’s probably related to speed, slower speed slower delivery.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡💗💗💗💗 just lovin it ... MERRY XMAS
I want one of those things bad!
