There are a ton of reviews that highlight the pros and cons of this unit. I'll just post this review (I like it overall) with some helpful advice to get the most of it.
First of all, there is no need to "balance" the load as some other folks have pointed out. The internal bin actually performs better when it is filled all the way to the top. The irony however is that the less laundry you have inside the bin, the worst the balance is. So it's better to save laundry loads where you can at least fill it halfway full before using, or you're going to have to hold the unit in place while it starts up to prevent it from violently shaking. Press down firmly on the load to remove air gaps, cause that's what causing the violent spinning on startup because the clothes inside are thrashing about.
Secondly, for those people who are complaining that laundry comes out "80%" dry, they are forgetting something. Once your first spin cycle is done (which includes the cool down spin that takes about 10 minutes), you can simply just run the machine again one more time. Air actually pushes through the spin cycle, and you can feel this by putting your hand near the spout the 2nd time around. If you feel dry air coming out, then your clothes are effectively being dried with the air at this point rather than being simply rung out.
Finally for the truly lazy or extremely time strapped folks, you can put soaking wet clothing directly into the bin without issue. Just make sure that once you've reached the top, you press downward onto the load which will compress the wet clothes and squeeze out any major air gaps; thus "balancing" it for the first spin cycle. In other words, dump freshly washed clothes straight into the bin, then press down hard into it (you should see water leak out of the spout on the bottom) and you've now "balanced" the load as other folks have said. The reason why clothes cause violent shaking in the unit is because air gaps in the clothes create a pocket where they can thrash about during the startup spin cycle. If you eliminate these gaps, then the inner bin will be more in control when you start it up. There's no mystery to it, you just to eliminate as many gaps in the clothes as possible for smoother operation.
Using the machine in the bathtub saves a lot of headache buying some type of mount or special platform. It also allows you to overload the machine with wet clothing that you can wring out versus using some type of container that would quickly be overwhelmed by the amount of water exiting the spout. But I leave this up to you how to do it, cause some folks like the neat and tidy look for a mount placed in the corner of a room or likewise.
Good luck! It's a great machine and I don't regret buying it one bit.

Thanks to the lady who demonstrated this product.
I was considering the Ninja, but your clear and hands on explanation convinced me to purchase this.
I have the manual but watching you on RUclips was awesome and a huge help.
P.s: I hope the manufacturer paid you for promoting this product.
    Thanks again.

Works better than the spin function in a conventional washing machine. I don't use the lever to stop the spinning since it wears down the machine. I switch off the electricity and let the spinning stop on its own.

I love mine. It's better than my big washer spin cycle. I just hang the clothes outside or overnight in the living room. It's almost wearable taking clothes out of the spinner.

Do you think it would handle spin-drying bed pillows?
