I had a Panda 3.5 cu ft dryer which I gave away when I moved. I kept my ninja spin dryer though. When putting the clothes through the spin dryer first, it usually took less than 30 minutes to dry the clothes in the dryer, so I didn't use that much electricity and well worth what I did use.

No matter which unit, you could save time in the dryer by letting heavy fabrics air dry first, then there will be less time in the dryer.
Very true. I use my spin dryer first. Clothes come out almost dry
