An interesting fact is that most archaeological findings are like that only the hypothesis is set up from that But in setting it up first it's seen where the artifacet is from what culture were its neighbours then most findings are hypothesised Yay Praveen hypothesis is unreal Like mobile phones , batteries , network towers , But the structure he shows like the whole process of fertilisation of human cell Mixing of sperm and ova there is a video on it you can check it out These were correctly hypothesised with correct reasons So you cannot call a hardworking researcher completely mar or something acknowledgement of someone's work is important though it would not be that good
That's how archaeology works. You can't exactly know what happened but only predict using your past knowledge . Not everything can be backed by absolute scientific proofs,past is something we predict by it's remains.
Knew this would come. Praveen Mohan's videos are really beautiful for the fact that they show monuments and temples of ancient history. But the problem is that just because we can't comprehend how did the ancient people built such marvelous structure doesn't mean there has to do something with aliens coming and using their technology to built such things. I doubt its to do with our education system. I am from TN, and right from kinder garten, I went through the usual matriculation syllabus. btw, i am 80s kid. My passion on physics and technology is inspired from my school education only. Though my teachers mostly sucked compared today's availability of knowledge through internet, I always was curious about magnets, electricity etc., and today I build data centres, and find it shocking to see so many of my friends and relatives still believe in fake nonsense they see online. It's our culture and society and not the education itself!
Also, coming from a "religion of peace" upbringing, my family and relatives tried pushing me toward "faith" system they all believe in. I always questioned them about the "holy" book, the fairy tale stories they believe for over 1500 years, and my relatives discriminated me as a "non believer" and used to say I will go to hell - this was when I was in my teenage. Now I am happy that I don't talk to those science deniers and live a content and happy life surrounded by intellectual people from around the world.

Praveen Mohan might promote alien theories but due to his efforts people now actually observe a historical site or an ancient temple more attentively. I know, I have. We take his theories of ancient aliens with a grain of salt. They might be true, they might not be true. A few days ago he made a video on Rani ki Vav and how it is an inverted temple. The same thing was shown in National Geography some weeks after.

One of the things I've noticed he does is that he misrepresents mainstream history by claiming that historians & archaeologists believe the ancient Indians only had "chisels and hammers" for carving and sculpting, therefore the elaborate architecture of ancient temples is "impossible" in mainstream history. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure chisels and hammers weren't all they had back then lol

In my opinion, Praveen Mohan is extremely disrespectful of our history. To ascribe the grandeur and grace of the architecture and engineering of our historical monuments to fantastic technologies and possibly non human influence is a slap on the face of those who commissioned, funded, designed and built them. It paints an extremely poor picture of our ancestors when he implies they had access to fantastical technologies but they failed to or decided not to pass it along to their contemporaries and descendants. He deserves no apology, he is a conman taking advantage of the naive and tarnishing our history.

That is not good and what i despise too about all those "ancient technology" people. Can people just let that be? On the other hand it surely shows that it was a advanced society which did invent a lot of things and was capable of creating stunning monuments and highly detailed and anatomically correct artworks. Those are the things that i like from him when he shows that ancient indians were apparently knowledgable in the fields which europe took many hundred years to come till they discovered it too. Praveen isn't a conspiracy theorist at all. A conspiracy theorist believes there is a conspiracy, and regardless of whether or not they have proof they spread it to others. Praveen explores ancient sites and ancient temples, tells the story of the site and shows what he sees there, and asks people their opinion of what he has shown. That is far from conspiracy theory. In fact, it is better work than most modern researchers do. There is nothing better than to be on location, seeing for yourself rather than being told from a history book which may not even be accurate since the winners of battles are the ones who write the history.
Alright you also have a point, at least this guy Praveen is out there on sites, visiting places to cook up conspiracy theories. Have you been to any sites that he covered or you just perform your analysis in your studio and sell merchandise 🙏

I like Praveen Mohan, through his videos I came to know the vast ancient history of temples of India. There are thousands like me, who like his channel.
I did not know who Praveen Mohan is until I watched your previous video on him - but let's hope such phenomenon are just a transient phase in the society of India - aka - "superiority complex out of inferiority complex" syndrome, which is rampant in many educated Indians. The reason for this is most of us assume, we did not contribute much to the science or technology of the world, and by recreating the past and with our imaginary arguments we are trying to compensate (kind of hindsight bias). People always fall for the notion that Science and Technology are Western and try to match their inventions in a retrospect manner - the truth is Analytical thinkers and critical observers existed everywhere - However, factors like open cultures, risk-taking behaviors, WEIRD people psychology (book by Joseph Henrich), the course of events in World history, the resources, etc. - favored the West, and we got to understand it with a holistic appraoch. Bottom line: We must focus on the culture and education system, not Whatsapp university propaganda.
First we should increase our R&D budget even if means mostly going to Defence and Space R&D by government, their trickle down effect will help us create our own hi-tech industry

It's okay to admire them for their literary quality and appreciate their attempt at explaining the world. But the minute you try and pit that world against the science, it crumbles because of the lack of evidence. It would do everyone good if they could separate religion and science. One is a subjective world view. The other is observable, evidence-based fact. That's the grounding truth.

A lot of his content is trying to make sense of temples and carvings and the meaning behind it all as no one else is willing to do it. He does make some outlandish claims but I think the place where he is coming from is just a sheer curiosity and trying to make sense of what we see in old/ancient structures

The assumption that the detailing done into stone is impossible without 3D printing is crazy, there are still places in India and around the world where sculpting is done with the most basic tools. Yes we as Indians were amazing at it, but there wasn't any "advanced" scientific knowledge but more of skill. 2. You're using this as a way to defend the man as he is "shedding light" on these structures. He also spreads a ton of misinformation and calls it "science" with "research" or whatever, catering to India's growing hyper religious population who believes that we're better than everybody else j cus we're hindus. Pravin's success is in understanding the glamor of science (as he indeed is carried away by it) but then research on religious stuff on the other extreme, as that's where his customers are. Now it's easy for him to connect with them and sell stuff they want. Now what most of the scientific community and free thinkers do? They sit on the side of science and evidence, and must oppose the other side. I doubt its to do with our education system. I am from TN, and right from kinder garten, I went through the usual matriculation syllabus. btw, i am 80s kid. My passion on physics and technology is inspired from my school education only. Though my teachers mostly sucked compared today's availability of knowledge through internet, I always was curious about magnets, electricity etc., and today I build data centres, and find it shocking to see so many of my friends and relatives still believe in fake nonsense they see online. It's our culture and society and not the education itself!
Also, coming from a "religion of peace" upbringing, my family and relatives tried pushing me toward "faith" system they all believe in. I always questioned them about the "holy" book, the fairy tale stories they believe for over 1500 years, and my relatives discriminated me as a "non believer" and used to say I will go to hell - this was when I was in my teenage. Now I am happy that I don't talk to those science deniers and live a content and happy life surrounded by intellectual people from around the world.

One of the things I've noticed he does is that he misrepresents mainstream history by claiming that historians & archaeologists believe the ancient Indians only had "chisels and hammers" for carving and sculpting, therefore the elaborate architecture of ancient temples is "impossible" in mainstream history.

In my opinion, Praveen Mohan is extremely disrespectful of our history.
To ascribe the grandeur and grace of the architecture and engineering of our historical monuments to fantastic technologies and possibly non human influence is a slap on the face of those who commissioned, funded, designed and built them.
It paints an extremely poor picture of our ancestors when he implies they had access to fantastical technologies but they failed to or decided not to pass it along to their contemporaries and descendants.
He deserves no apology, he is a conman taking advantage of the naive and tarnishing our history.

I did not know who Praveen Mohan is until I watched your previous video on him - but let's hope such phenomenon are just a transient phase in the society of India - aka - "superiority complex out of inferiority complex" syndrome, which is rampant in many educated Indians. The reason for this is most of us assume, we did not contribute much to the science or technology of the world, and by recreating the past and with our imaginary arguments we are trying to compensate (kind of hindsight bias). People always fall for the notion that Science and Technology are Western and try to match their inventions in a retrospect manner - the truth is Analytical thinkers and critical observers existed everywhere - However, factors like open cultures, risk-taking behaviors, WEIRD people psychology (book by Joseph Henrich), the course of events in World history, the resources, etc. - favored the West, and we got to understand it with a holistic appraoch. It's okay to admire them for their literary quality and appreciate their attempt at explaining the world. But the minute you try and pit that world against the science, it crumbles because of the lack of evidence. It would do everyone good if they could separate religion and science. One is a subjective world view. The other is observable, evidence-based fact. That's the grounding truth.

He does make some outlandish claims but I think the place where he is coming from is just a sheer curiosity and trying to make sense of what we see in old/ancient structures

Yes we as Indians were amazing at it, but there wasn't any "advanced" scientific knowledge but more of skill.

5:04 sorry, but after that paper got published another researcher made a small working prototype using the same design and proved that paper wrong. The design is indeed aerodynamically stable.
