I saw Antz, Bugs, Monsters and Shrek in the theaters as a kid. I still treasure those movies today by keeping their DVD copies in my DVD collection. My entire childhood was amazing because of Disney and Dreamworks❤️

Dreamworks is still getting creative and has some ideas. Disney on the other hand is just copying old stories, an example is the newest little mermaid. If you want to actually makes stories with characters from other " cultures. " then make NEW stories. Dont just copy old ones and make the main character switch races.

The only good movies marvel has put out in a long while that will be remembered are Spider-Man 3 and gotg 3, everything else is alright, or just bad, it doesn’t help that you need to get Disney plus to watch the shows and the average persons isn’t going to watch them all to understand the movies. Ants is based on the book series “Les fourmis” (Bernard Werber) an amazing French writer that is worth discovering, all his books are amazing, scientific fictions, my favorite author, anyone who enjoys reading, “Le père de nos Peres”, “Les thanatonautes” are translated in English I guess, so unique, suspenseful, intelligent, with twists you wouldn’t imagine, I highly recommend Werber!!!

I’d like to use this video as a chance to point out that both Shrek and Monster’s Inc are movies that are GREAT examples of “positive masculinity” applied to “everyman” characters and also both have villains that represent “official” looking forces can be the villain. And several other positive messages… These are movies that are great lessons for kids that don’t FEEL like a lesson is being taught at all.
